Ballarayanadurga & Bandaje-Arbi Waterfall Trek - Adventure Junkie

Ballarayanadurga Fort is in Charmadi Ghats, which connects Dakshina Kannada and Chikmagalur districts. Ballarayanadurga Fort is at an altitude of 1509m. It can be accessed from two sides. Shorter route is from Sunkasale and Longer route is from Bandaje village. Bandaje-Arbi waterfall is very nearby and the only way to reach is to trek. GPS location is 13.131945 N 75.414027 E.

Outline Itinerary:

Day 0: Depart from Adventure Junkie at 21:30

Day 1: Get fresh and have Breakfast and tea at our Homestay. Start trek early as possible, Reach peak and have packed lunch. Spend some time and return back to homestay for the much awaited BBQ, Campfire and Dinner. Trek to Bandaje-Arbi waterfalls.

Day 2: Visit a waterfall which is near our homestay, Visit Belur on the way. Depart to Bangalore.

Cost Includes:

• 1 night stay at Home Stay/Camping.
• Spacious dome tents, sleeping bags.
• 2 Breakfast, 1 Lunch and 1 Dinner and plenty of snacks.
• Transportation to and fro as per itinerary (non AC).
• Local trek guide, Permissions and Entry fees.
• Medical first aid support.
• BBQ

Things to Carry:

1. Trekking shoes
2. Backpack (40-60 litres), Water proof
3. Socks (2 pairs): One sports socks, A pair of woollen socks for the night if trek is in winter.
4. Salt/Snuff Powder to avoid leeches during rainy and post rainy season.
5. Headlamp/Torch: Mandatory
6. Toiletries (Sunscreen, moisturiser, light towel, lip balm, toilet paper, toothbrush, toothpaste).
7. Two water bottles: 1 litre each.
8. Personal Medications if any
9. Plastic covers/Water proof covers to keep wet cloths seperately and extra for when backpack is not 100% water proof

Minimum Number of Participants required for the event is 7.

Confirmation Policy:

• The customer receives a confirmation voucher via email within 12 hours of successful booking.
• In case the preferred slots are unavailable, an alternate schedule of the customer’s preference will be arranged and a new confirmation voucher will be sent via email.
• Alternatively, the customer may choose to cancel their booking and a full refund will be processed.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

1. No refund for the cancellation made 7 days before the date of departure.
2. 50% refund for the cancellation made 8 to 14 days before the date of departure.
3. 100% refund for the cancellations made 15 days before the date of departure.
4. Instead of cancellation of the ticket, you can transfer your ticket to someone else with earlier intimation to the organizers.
5. Cancellation and refund policy may differ for each event. If they differ, the same will be sent to an email ID used during registration.
6. Refunds take max of 5 working days. Please cooperate.
