Alibaug Cycling information: Alibaug is famous for weekend getaways near Mumbai & Pune. It is located in Konkan region of Maharastra. Alibaug has numerous beaches to enjoy on weekend. There are many historical sea forts and beautiful temples. Kihim and Awas beach are located towards northern side of Alibaug & these are most convenient beaches to reach if you are travelling by the boat. Kihim beach is most popular beach with long stretch of sand. Khanderi and Underi fort are located near Kihim Beach. Awas Beach is less Crowded beach. It is the best beach to enjoy peace if you are travelling alone. Bhaucha dhakka is a wharf along the Thane Creek on the seafront of Mumbai. It was Built by Lakshman Hari Chandarjee Ajinkya. Bhaucha Dhakka is famous as a biggest fish market of Mumbai.

01:00 pm: Start cycling Towards Awas Beach
02:00 pm: Reach Awas Beach
02:30 pm: Start Cycling Towards Revas Dhakka
03:45 pm: Reach Revas Dhakka
04:45 pm: Return boat ride towards Bhaucha Dhakka

Cancellation and refund applicable on the tour cost: 

● If cancellation done prior to 15 days of outing 75% will be refunded.
● If done prior to 10 days of outing 50% will be refunded.
● After that no refund will be provided.

 

Things to carry:

● Identity Proof
● 2 ltrs of drinking Water
● Some ready to eat food (plum cakes, biscuits)
● Electral/Tang powder/Glucon-D is must
● Any personal medicine
● Good sport shoes (No Sandals)
● Camera (Optional)
● Small Rucksack to carry all these things

Rules:
1. Smoking and drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited.
2. Tour leader's decision will be final and binding.
3. Small Steps Adventures reserves all the right to change/deviate/cancel the plans without prior notice.
4. Telephonic confirmation is mandatory; if unable to contact us then send a text message and we will call you back.
6. Please avoid wearing Gold and other jewelry.

Can I bring my own cycle?
- No, as package includes cycle rent wherein we provide quality branded cycles with helmet.

Are cycles geared or non-geared?
- It depends on the distance of cycle ride. Majority times we provide geared-cycles.

Total kms we will be riding?
- Approx – 40 Kms.

Washrooms facility?
- On the way there will be halt for washroom.

Is Alibaug beach cycle ride good for beginners?
- It’s advisable to have prior cycling experience of riding minimum 20-25kms in one day.

Is it safe for girls to join?
- For all events of SSA, majority time male-female ratio is 50-50%. Apart from that it’s a Alibaug coastal cycle ride wherein you will find presence of tourist throughout the road. Also, we have tour leaders who will be there with you from start to end.
