Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose is renowned for his scientific discoveries, including radio waves. But did you know that he was also a major figure in the Swadeshi movement and instrumental in giving an Indian identity to science?
In this walk, we explore his home, which is now a museum, learn more about his multidimensional pioneering research, see the original Crescrograph, that he invented to measure minute growth and sensations in plants.
This walk is done in collaboration with Sir JC Bose Trust. All proceeds from the walk go to the Sir JC Bose Trust to improve the museum and help in the upkeep of its invaluable collection.
