'Structuring Form - The Innovative Rigour of Mahendra Raj' is conceptualised by Rohit Raj Mehndiratta and Vandini Mehta. It showcases the extraordinary practice and workings of Mahendra Raj who just turned 95. A distinguished figure in the history of modern, civil and structural engineering in India. The show takes us back to the buildings of Le Corbusier in Chandigarh and many other extraordinary public projects with leading Indian and International architects. The exhibition is a joint effort between the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art and Studio VanRO Foundation. The work of Mahendra Raj is significant in the manner that it pioneered and shaped the narrative of architectural modernism in independent India.
