We “Balasore Marathon Association” a non-profit organization founded in 2020 as a running group and registered in 2025. This year we are organizing the “MISSILE CITY WORLD HALF MARATHON” to create awareness on clean environment, health and fitness in the community.

Missile City World Half Marathon – 2025 event will be organized on 23rd of November (Sunday) 2025. The Event will be held in the following Race Categories:

• 21K - Report Time: 4:30am, Race Time: 5:30am.
• 10K - Report Time: 5.00am, Race Time: 6.00am.
• 5K - Report Time: 5.30am, Race Time: 6.30am.
• 3K - Report Time: 6:00am, Race Time: 7:30am.

The winners of the 21K, 10K & 5K will get exciting cash prizes and Winners Trophy. All the participants will be provided with the official Missile City World Half Marathon – 2025 T-Shirt along with other goodies, and will receive a finisher medal after the completion of the race. Breakfast will be served to all the participants.

Event Terms & Conditions:

1. Please choose the event category carefully, confirmed registrations are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be modified. Provide us with a secure email ID/mobile no. that you access regularly since this will be our primary means of communication during the run-up to the event. Any notice sent to the email address registered with the organizers shall be deemed as received by the runners. We are not responsible if you do not receive any communications owing to your negligence in providing accurate and up to date details.
2. Users of email services that offer filtering/blocking of messages from unknown email addresses should add this email ID “balasoremarathonassociation@gmail.com” to avoid missing the emails sent regarding the event and missing out on crucial confirmation and communication messages sent by the event organizer.
3. Please fill out only those fields that are necessary for mailing purposes. Do not provide redundant data in multiple fields (i.e., do not list the same data for city, province and country), as this will only complicate our ability to contact you, if and when necessary.
4. You shall consult your physician and undergo a complete medical examination to assess your suitability to participate in this event. We do not undertake any medical assessments or fitness checks prior to or during the run, and this is your sole responsibility. By participating in the run, you are deemed to be medically fit to do so and that you are adequately trained, and are doing so entirely at your risk.
5. We will be sending regular updates to the E-mail address, you have provided in the registration form. This should not be treated as spam and you shall not take any action against our bulk SMS service provider as it is in your best interest to receive these updates.
6. You also assume all risks (including inherent risks as well as unknown or unanticipated risks) associated with participating in this event including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, including high heat or humidity/rain, sunburn, traffic and the condition of the road or the trail, including slippery rocks, mud, steep slopes, arson or terrorist threats and all other risks associated with a public event.
7. You agree that this event or its organizers shall not be liable for any loss or damage of personal belongings, illness or injury that might occur as a result of your participation in the event, including the costs associated with any medical treatment that you may incur. You acknowledge and agree that India Running is not responsible for providing medical care.
8. You agree to promptly abide by the instructions provided by the organizers from time to time in the best interest of your health and event safety.
9. You also agree to stop running if instructed by the race director or the medical staff or by the aid station volunteers.
10. You agree and confirm that your name and media recordings may be taken during your participation in the races, may be used to publicize the event or may be used in publicity materials or otherwise used in publications by us or the organizers and that you have no objection to such use. If you wish to withdraw your consent or to not provide your consent to the use of your photographs, likeness, videography, etc., please email balasoremarathonassociation@gmail.com.
11. You confirm that, in the event of adverse weather conditions, major incidents or threats on the day, any of the force major or restriction by authority, the organizers reserve the right to stop/cancel/postpone the event. You understand that confirmed registrations and merchandise orders are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be modified. The organizers reserve the right to reject any application without providing reasons. Any amount collected from rejected applications alone will be refunded in full (excluding bank charges wherever applicable) unless clearly stated otherwise.
12. Runners are recommended to stay off the course beyond the cut-off time considering the safety and traffic regulations.
13. If for any reason you cannot turn up on race day, no refund of any form shall be given.
14. If this registration is being made on behalf of a minor, I confirm that I am the parent/guardian of the child and that he/she has my permission to take part in the event. I further concur that all the above rules shall apply to him/her as if he/she were a major, including being medically fit to participate.
15. I confirm that I am 18 years and above and able to consent to these terms.
16. Participants must personally appear to collect running bibs. Bibs can be distributed in-absentee with the written consent of the registered runners.
17. You also understand and agree that you may be contacted by the sponsors and promoters of the event for marketing and promotion of offers and that you grant us explicit permission to send communications on your mobile number & email address provided herein above.

Prize Money Terms & Conditions:

1. All registered runners are eligible for prize money.
2. For the fastest timing / Overall / Open Category, there are no age brackets, whosoever covers the complete race course and crosses the finish line, he/she will be awarded the cash prize.
3. For the Overall top 3 winners’ category net time is considered for prize money, hence the potential winners should line up in the front at start line.
4. For all age category winners net timing is considered for the prize money.
5. Ranks/Position declarations are based on Provisional Timing, & may change post-due diligence (in each race category).
6. Prize money will be disbursed only via cheque or bank account transfer.
7. In addition to the above, entitlement to finish positions and prize money winnings are also subject to –           a) Runners starting the run after 15 minutes of the start time are not considered for the award.  b)Bib tag timing captured across all timing points on the course, including at the start and finish mats.
8. Physical verification by technical officials and anti-cheat cameras
9. Athletes found to have interchanged their running number bib and/or bib tag with others, will be disqualified from the competition. Such athletes shall not be entitled to any timing or prize money (where applicable).
10. The Race Technical Officials decision is final on the finisher rankings and prize winners
11. All the rules are subject to change anytime as decided by the organizers.
12. Awards/Prize money disbursal after 30 days from the event date.
13. Indian national winner must submit govt ID card, Aadhaar & PAN card for the release of prize money.
14. International Participants must submit the required documents if in case he or she wins a prize money
