Understand and learn basic 32 Asanas that are needed to maintain fitness of physical body and mind through a short workshop on Gherand Samhita. Gherand Samhita is one of the three main texts on Hatha Yoga. It describes 32 Asanas as the most useful out of 84 Lakh Asanas!
The workshop will be conducted using Google Meet.
What is included in the workshop?
- A brief about Gherand Samhita.
- Information and recital of original Sutras that describe 32 asanas along with their meaning. Practical way of performing, benefits, and contra-indications.
Facilitator-
Sucheta Kadethankar - Certified and experienced Yoga Teacher, Sanskrit Visharad, EREPS Level 4 Fitness Trainer, Studying Hatha Yoga Pradipika and Yoga Philosophy in Oxford Center of Hindu Studies.
Duration- 2 Days (2 hours each day)
- First Batch - 9th and 10th May - 9:30 am to 11:30 am
- Second Batch: 9th and 10th May - 5 pm to 7 pm
Fees:
- Only workshop - INR 500
- Two days workshop + 3 months training followed by the workshop (thrice a week) - INR 5000
Who can do this workshop?
Anyone above the age of 18 who is interested in understanding the important Yoga poses that can be practicecd to maintain GhatSwasthya.
Medium of Instruction
Mix of English/Hindi/Marathi. Depends on the participants who enroll.
