18th International Workshop on Nanomechanical Sensing (NMC 2022)

The Centre for Nano Science and Engineering (CeNSE) at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, India, is organizing the 18th International Workshop on Nanomechanical sensing (NMC2022). The workshop will be conducted in hybrid mode from 9th to 12th August 2022. 

The International Workshop on Nanomechanical Sensing is a leading forum that brings together the research community working in the interdisciplinary research on sensors based on micro and nanomechanical systems (MEMS & NEMS). The workshop focuses on all aspects related to micro and nanomechanical sensing – including applications in physical, chemical, and biological sensing, instrumentation for probing the nanoscale, optomechanics, nano-mechanics, nonlinear effects, resonant sensing, and novel sensing platforms, as well as theory, numerical modeling, and experimental methods that underpin this field. Previous workshops have very effectively achieved a convergence of researchers from academia and industry, engendering lively exchanges on the potential, challenges, and recent advances in micro and nanoscale mechanical sensors.
