Editing Transactions/List
KEYS ACTION
Ctrl+Del Pressing this key will delete the selected line in a transaction.
Ctrl+Ins By using this key, you can insert a blank detail line in a transaction.
Ctrl+Alt+Y To copy the line in an invoice, press this key.
Ctrl+Alt+V To paste the copied line to the intended row in the invoice, use this key.
Ctrl+N Pressing this key allows you to create a new transaction or list item.
Ctrl+D You can delete the current transaction or list item by using this key.
Ctrl+E To edit an item in an item list or in a register, press this key.
Ctrl+O You can check in the write check/cheques windows or in the check register. Use Ctrl+O to copy the check, and then use Ctrl+V to create a copy of that check if you are in the check register.
F5 To refresh the list, press this key. This is useful when you are in multi-user mode and have a list open. It will update QuickBooks with the latest copy of the list from the database server. This is particularly helpful when multiple users are editing the list simultaneously. Note that all open lists should be refreshed at the same time.
Ctrl+H Pressing this key will display the transaction history (used inside a transaction).

Ctrl+W To write checks/cheques, use this key.
Ctrl+Q To generate a quick report, press this key.
Ctrl+Y Pressing this key will display the transaction journal (used inside a transaction).
Ctrl+J To access the Customer Center, press this key.
Ctrl+A To open the Chart of Accounts, use this key.
Ctrl+I Pressing this key allows you to create invoices.
Ctrl+L To open a list, use this key. If the cursor is in a field with a drop-down list, such as selecting an item in an invoice detail, pressing Ctrl+L will open the associated list.
Ctrl+U To use the item after opening the list with Ctrl+L, press this key.
Ctrl+R To use the register, press this key.
Ctrl+G When you are on a register for an account, pressing Ctrl+G will take you to the register for the "transfer" account related to the chosen line.
