The mountain range lies within the Kalsubai Harishchandragad Wildlife Sanctuary. It is visited throughout the year by avid trekkers Kalsubai temple devotees and wildlife enthusiasts alike. According to the villagers living at the base of the mountain a woman name Kalsu Bai was punished by villagers and forced to leave the village and that the woman climbed the mountain and started living on it and later died there giving the mountain its name.

Mumbai Itinerary:-
Day 1:

08:00 PM - Leave from Mumbai 

2:30 AM - Reach the Base Village and Freshenup

Day 2:

03:00 am - Have breakfast and tea

03:15 am - Start Trek 

5:45 am- Reach the top

12:00 pm - Reach the base village and have Lunch

2:00 pm - Return journey begins for Mumbai 

07:00 pm - Approx. arrival at Mumbai.

10.06 Pm:Ghatkopar

11.03 Pm : Kalyan

12:13 am: Kasara

Day 1

12:20 am-Assemble at Kasara Railway Station

near Ticket counter.

12:30 am - Travel from Kasara Railway

Station to Base Village by Our Vehicle 

02:30 am- Reach Base village 

Introduction and have Tea and breakfast 

03:00 am-Start Kalsubai trek with Full energy and Fun

06:00 am - Reach Kalsubai Shikhar. Explore and wait for Beautiful Sunrise

08:30 am - Start descending to base village 

12:00 pm - Reach Base village and enjoy delicious lunch made by villagers

01:00 pm - Travel back to kasara Railway Station.

03:00 pm - Reach Kasara railway station and disperse.

Important Note:

1) The trek leader holds the right to make any changes in the program or schedule without any prior notice. Participants will have to bear extra charges if any unavoidable expenses occurred due to change in program or natural calamities like landslides roadblocks etc.

2) Don't bring valuable things like gold or any jewelry or High-value mobile phones.

3) Consumption of Alcohol strictly banned on Trek. In case found guilty strict actions will be taken.

4) If any natural calamity happens or any accident death illness occurred the Organiser is not responsible for any loss of thing or human being.

5) Cancellation Charges Rs. 500/- Strictly Applicable under any circumstances.
