The Ocean Film Festival Of India - TOFFOI

The Ocean Film Festival Of India - TOFFOI is India's first & a one-of-a-kind platform that brings together many stakeholders to celebrate the intrinsic connection that the sea shares with Mumbai City.

With a total coastline of approx 11,000 km. spread across 9 states and 2 Islands, India now has a dedicated Ocean Film Festival of its own.

It is an annual port of call for all the ocean lovers and enthusiasts.

The Ocean Film Festival Of India - TOFFOI  is the annual arribada of ocean lovers congregating to create bioluminescence of ideas. 

This one-day festival has the first half dedicated to the Ocean Film Festival, showcasing films from various genre and the second half gets more interesting, participants can get a chance to experience the ocean first hand by getting on a sunset sail across the Gateway of India. 

Tickets :

There are two types of tickets for TOFFOI.

1. TOFFOI - Rs. 399/-

2. TOFFOI + Sailing at the Gateway Of India - Rs.1599/-

The Event Day Schedule :

1. 9.00am - 2.30pm : The Ocean Film Festival Of India - TOFFOI at The Mumbai Zoo, Byculla.

Venue : 3D Auditorium, Penguin Building,

             Veermata Jijabai Bhosale Botanical Udyan & Zoo,

             Near Masina Hospital, Opp. Rustam Baug, Near HP Petrol Pump,

             Santa Savata Marg 2, Byculla East,

             Mumbai 400027.

2. 4.00pm onwards : Evening Sailing at The Gateway of India.

FUND RAISING :

The Ocean Film festival Of India is just not about raising awareness about the blue planet, but also about raising funds to keep it that way. 

Last year we raised funds for M/s Reefwatch for their Coral conservation initiative in Goa & Andaman.

This year we plan to earmark Rs.100/- from every ticket sale for Ocean Conservation.

The TOFFOI Ticket Includes :

1. Entry to the Zoo.

2. Entry to The Ocean Film Festival Of India.

3. Free Parking at the Venue on first come basis.

4. Tea & Snacks.

5. An amount of Rs.100/- to be donated for Ocean Conservation NGO.

TOFFOI Plus Sailing Ticket Includes :

1. All of the above

2. 1-1.30hrs of Sailing from The Gateway of India.

   ( Participants have to arrange their own transport from VJBB Udyan & Zoo to Gateway of India.)

This festival is an attempt to re-connect the people of Mumbai to the ocean and our coast in a new way with a vision to drive home the message that – 

‘Ocean is not a huge resource to consume but the last resource to conserve’.
