It is one of the most famous hill Stations owing to its picturesque landscape, gushing falls, wildlife sanctuary, pilgrim centers, and attractive coffee plantation. This quaint city is blessed with a very soothing climate round the year due to its geographical location in the Western Ghats.

Short Itinerary

Day 1

1) We say bye to Namma Bengaluru at around 6 AM.

2) A short stop for Breakfast enroute at Mayura Hotel (Unlimited Food Menu).

3) Reach our homestay in Chikmagalur and have lunch (Veg & Non Veg)

4) Take a joyful ride to the scenic Ukkada Falls or Hirekolale Lake.

5) Return back to the homestay.

6) Freshen up and gather around the campfire to tea and piping hot snacks (if weather permits).

7) Warm up, indulge in activities, or dance the evening away, hosted by our fun-experts.

8) Dig into a traditional dinner which is unlimited! (Veg & Non Veg)

9) Sleep like a baby at our overnight stay on 4-sharing basis in comfortable dorms with attached bathroom.

Day 2

1) Wake up at 5:00 AM to the sounds of the nature and freshen up

2) Depart from homestay to go to Mullayanagiri Peak.

3) Enjoy the view for the highest peak of Karnataka.

4) Return back to the homestay and have breakfast.

5) Relax at the homestay

6) Finish lunch at homestay (Veg & Non Veg)

7) Ride to Jhari Falls, and later to Bababudangiri for a spectacular view of the sunset.

8) Return back to the homestay.

9) Freshen up and gather around the campfire to tea and piping hot snacks (if weather permits).

10) Warm up, indulge in activities, or dance the evening away, hosted by our fun-experts.

11) Dig into a traditional dinner which is unlimited! (Veg & Non Veg)

12) Sleep like a baby at our overnight stay on 4-sharing basis in comfortable dorms with attached bathroom.

Day 3

1) Wake up to the sounds of the nature and freshen up

2) Have Breakfast at the homestay and check-out

3) Ride to Kemmanagundi

4) Check-in to our hotel.

5) Finish lunch at hotel (Veg & Non Veg)

6) Visit Hebbe Falls.

7) Return back to the hotel.

8) Warm up, indulge in activities, or dance the evening away, hosted by our fun-experts.

9) Dig into a traditional dinner which is unlimited! (Veg & Non Veg)

10) Sleep like a baby at our overnight stay on 2-3 sharing basis in comfortable rooms with attached bathroom.

Day 4

1) Wake up to the sounds of the nature and freshen up

2) Have breakfast and Check out from hotel around 10:00 AM.

3) Start the return journey to Bengaluru.

4) Have lunch enroute (Self-Sponsored)

5) Reach Namma Bengaluru in the evening around 08:00 PM with memories of a lifetime!

i) Accommodation will be in comfortable dorms on 4-sharing basis for 2 nights and comfortable rooms on 2 sharing basis for 1 night.

Advisory

1) Monks on Wheels trek leads will have radio communication device as a part of safety measure

2) Both cars and bikes are allowed for this tour.

3) A Whatsapp group will be created 2-3 days before the event where all the necessary information like things to carry, pick up points, time etc will be provided

4) We need a minimum of 6 people to conduct the event or the event might be cancelled with a full refund

5) In an extremely rare scenario, due to unforeseen incidents like natural calamities, roadblocks etc. or restrictions by the government or forest department, the itinerary might be changed/modified depending on the situation.

The surroundings around the Homestay/Hotel/Camp will make you feel very close to Nature.

What is Partial Payment? If partial payment is done, how to pay the remaining amount?

Partial payment is an advance paid to block your slot for a particular event. Remaining amount of the event to be paid online/cash on the day of the trip.

What kind of transport will be arranged by Monks on Wheels?

Monks on Wheels will be arranging an Non – AC tempo traveller or a mini bus depending on the group size.

From where will the transportation be arranged?

The transport will be arranged from Bengaluru.

After booking a trip, when will I receive further updates?

Our trips would get confirmed 2-3 days before the event date and you’ll be added to the trip’s WhatsApp group where you’ll receive further necessary information.

Where should we join, in case we are coming by our own transport arrangements?

Once your registration is confirmed, Monks on Wheels shall provide the exact location of our venue 2-3 days before the event.

Is there any age limit for Monks on Wheels’ trips?

Monks on Wheels do not restrict on the age as each individual has their own capabilities. But we would strongly recommend you to contact us so that our travel expert can give you a better idea of the trip.

How safe is it for women travelers?

What is the ratio of Men & Women in your events?

Monks on Wheels usually have more women travelers joining our trips. However, sometimes the ratio will be almost equal.

What type of venue will it be for the overnight stay? Whether accommodation will be separate for men and women?

Monks on Wheels keeps certain quality standards where we provide venues like home stays or campsites that are good and hygienic with neat and clean washrooms. And yes, we always provide separate accommodation for men and women.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. If the notice is received more than 20 days prior to the event, 100% of the event amount paid will be refunded.

2. If the notice is received up to 20 days prior to the event, 50% of the event amount paid shall be refunded.

3. All cancellation requests made 5 days prior or on the day of the event, no refund will be made.

4. No refund will be made for any type of cancellation if partial payment is done.
