Pune Women's Half Marathon 2018

Pune Women's Half Marathon is an event to celebrate womanhood. It's a celebration of the ability of each individual woman to transform generations. This event is all about appreciating the power of woman as an individual, as a backbone of family and as a role model in society.

The event is a platform to bring all the women from different walks of life to experience the benefits of healthy lifestyle. 

• There will be T-shirts, Medals, BIBs, Zumba warm up for all
• Timing Chip and e-Certificate will be ONLY for 10km and 21km runners.
• Post run, there will be Yoga stretches, prizes for 10km and 21km winners and breakfast
• THE PARTICIPATION TO THE EVENT IS ABSOLUTELY FREE FOR ALL WOMEN.
• Please register ONLY IF YOU CAN PARTICIPATE ON RACE DAY as the registrations are limited.

Terms and Conditions for Participation to PWHM 2018

Please choose the event category carefully. Provide us with a secure email ID/mobile no that you can access regularly, since this will be our primary means of communication during the run up to the event.

Any notice sent to the email address registered with the organizers shall be deemed as received by the runners.

Please fill out only those fields that are necessary for mailing purposes. Do not provide redundant data in multiple fields (i.e., do not list the same data for city, province and country), as this will only complicate our ability to contact you, if necessary.

You are aware that long distance running is an extreme sport and can be injurious to body and health. You take full responsibility for participating in the Pune Women's Half Marathon event and do not hold the organizing committee or any of it’s members or entities responsible for any injury or accident.

You shall consult your physician and undergo complete medical examination to assess your suitability to participate in the event.

You also assume all risks associated with participating in this event including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat or humidity, traffic and the condition of the road, arson or terrorist threats and all other risks associated with a public event.

You agree that Pune Women's Half Marathon shall not be liable for any loss, damage, illness or injury that might occur as a result of your participation in the event.

You agree to abide by the instructions provided by the organizers from time to time in the best interest of your health and event safety.

You also agree to stop running if instructed by the Race director or the medical staff or by the aid station volunteers.

You confirm that your name and media recordings taken during your participation may be used to publicize the event.

You may acknowledge and agree that your personal information can be stored and used by Pune Women's Half Marathon or any other company in connection with the organization, promotion and administration of the event and for the compilation of statistical information.

You confirm that, in the event of adverse weather conditions, major incidents or threats on the day, any of the force major or restriction by authority, the organizers reserve the right to stop/cancel/postpone the event. The organizers reserve the right to reject any application without providing reasons. 

Runners will not be allowed to stay on the course beyond the cut-off time considering the safety and health issues.

Question 1
I am not sure, if I may be in Pune on 11-march-2018, can I still register?
Response
No it will be a wrong thing to block a spot. Even though the registrations are free for participants, there is cost involved with each participant. keeping the spot open for those who can run, will ensure that the objective of the event is fulfilled. 
Register only if you are 100% sure about participation

Question 2
Can I register in 2 different categories since I am not sure about the distance that I will be running?
Response
Duplicate entries will be disqualified Please decide on a category and register. Duplicate entries will be disqualified automatically and you will not be issued any bib.

Question 3
I don't have a timing certificate for 10k or 21k from any event in last 1 year, can I still register for 21k category
Response
No. You must have a valid timing certificate from 10k or 21k category from earlier event to qualify for registration of 21k category in PWHM

Question 4
I did not get any email for my registration, what can I do?
Response
1. Check your spam mail first. Make sure to check email received from townscript email address.
2. Make sure your internet is working.
3. Check the same email id, that you have registered with.
4. Still a problem? Send an email to following using your Registered email address.
