The realm of lenses that work behind and beyond your regular selfies. Gain a deeper insight into what the eye can't capture on 4th October at Rabindra Tirtha, New Town, 11am onwards, with renowned photographers Mr. Suvomoy Mitra and Mr. Debarshi Duttagupta.
Mr. Suvomoy Mitra is a famous commercial photo designer based in Kolkata, India. He specializes in travel and people photography, and is famed for his unusual composition captures.Few of his achievements are,
1)Lalitkala Akademi Award in 1997, 2)National Geographic Traveler Award in 1996 and 1997, 3)Merit award in UNESCO. His works are exhibited in 29 countries.
Mr. Debarshi Duttagupta is an esteemed storm chaser. A master in capturing cloudscapes/landscapes, he has been associated with various photography endeavors –
He has won the Nikon Grand Prix award(2010-2011) The photograph selected as the Grand Prix Award winner from among this large number of submissions was "Learning to fly" which was singled out as the best of the best, a total of 53 award winners were chosen from the over 60,000 photos submitted in the "free subject" and "Energy" categories.
As enthusiasm and energy boosters, lunch will be served between sessions . Rotaract Club of Altruism hopes to guide and make better photographers of all attendees. A registration fee of Rs 600 is required of all those attending the session. We hope to see all you photo bugs there to capture the moment.
