Nishani Betta which literally translates to “marked hill”. During the British era, the peak was used as a mark to find the directions to different places on the hill path.

Abbimatta is nestled on the high slops and surrounded by thick forest and paddy fields, coffee estates, hills, valleys; it’s another world there like a hidden paradise.

Short Itinerary

Day 0 (Friday)

1) We say bye to Namma Bengaluru at around 10 PM.

(Please have a light dinner. We don’t want you to starve!)

2) Our experienced organizers will keep you engaged with fun ice breaker session, a great way to bond with your fellow travellers.

3) Next up? Good rest required for the adventure in waiting!

Day 1 (Saturday):

1) Reach the homestay in Coorg in the morning to a steaming hot cup of coffee.

2) Freshen up and have a delicious, authentic breakfast.

3) Depart from homestay to reach the trek base.

4) Take a drive to the base point of Nishani Motte Trek.

5) Start the trek to mighty Nishani Motte peak.

6) Have packed lunch at the Summit.

7) Descend back to the base point.

8) Drive back to the homestay

9) Freshen up for some tea and piping hot snacks.

10) Gather around for the campfire (if weather permits)

11) Warm up, indulge in activities, or dance the evening away, hosted by our fun-experts.

12) Dig into a traditional dinner (Veg & Non Veg) which is unlimited!

13) Sleep like a baby overnight in 3-4 sharing rooms.

Day 2 (Sunday)

1) Wake up to the sounds of nature to a steaming hot cup of coffee.

2) Nature walk (optional)

3) Enjoy your morning breakfast at the homestay

4) Freshen up and check out at 9 AM

5) Have a sumptuous lunch (Veg)

6) Visit the beautiful Mysore Palace.

7) Start return journey to Bengaluru

8) Reach Namma Bengaluru in the evening (around 11 PM) with memories of a lifetime!

Advisory

1) You have the option to make your own transportation arrangements (car/bike/public transport) to join the event for which per person price for Non-AC room: Rs. 5469/- (No hidden charges)

2) Monks on Wheels trek leads will have radio communication device as a part of safety measure

3) A Whatsapp group will be created 2-3 days before the event where all the necessary information like things to carry, pick up points, time etc will be provided

4) Accommodation in Non AC premium rooms on 3-4 sharing with attached bathrooms. (Room has 1 King Size Bed, 1 Single Bed, 1 Mattress – optional)

5) We need a minimum of 9 people to conduct the event or the event might be cancelled with full refund

6) In an extremely rare scenario, due to unforeseen incidents like natural calamities, road blocks etc. or restrictions by the government or forest department, the itinerary might be changed/modified depending on the situation.
