IKF 2024: Spark Tank for Young Entrepreneurs

Calling all young change-Makers! If you have a creative idea that can make a positive difference, this is your chance to shine! We are searching for innovative minds like yours who can develop products, services or an App that promote and support kindness in our society. Our panel of compassionate investors are eager to see how your venture can contribute to spreading kindness, empathy, and positivity in our communities.

Who should participate?

Junior Category: School Students Grades 9 to 12

Senior Category: College Students UG 

Why Participate?

➡️ Pitch your project to potential investors and companies in a formal ‘Spark Tank' Live event at Alliance Française on Mar 10th.

➡️ Our group of kind-hearted investors will be willing to contribute upto 1 lakh INR to fund your project. 

➡️ We will also have large businesses present who will help you scale up your idea and take it into the real world.

How to Participate

Step 2: Sangeetha will shortlist the top teams. Shortlisted entries will be announced on February 19th, 2024.

Step 3: Participate LIVE to pitch your ideas to a panel of sharks on March 10th, 2024.

Business Studies Teacher

Being a member of the prestigious ACCA chartered accountancy body and an entrepreneur, Sangeetha is passionate about connecting with young adults who are stepping into the financial world.

Sangeetha is an experienced educator in teaching IBDP and IGCSE business management to high school students. She has also curated a financial literacy program for middle school students promoting engagement.

Why this event?

The International Kindness Festival (IKF) is the first of its kind global festival celebrating and discussing the Science, Politics, Ethics, Practicality and beauty of kindness! And what better way to do this than through the youngest members of our society? When children talk, people stop and listen. That’s why we need to keep teaching kindness to children from an early age as an integral part of their education and daily life.

The 1st edition of IKF took place in March 2021 in a visually rich and interactive virtual environment. We are now thrilled to bring to life the 2nd edition of the International Kindness Festival on February 24th & 25th, 2024 at Sir Mutha Venkata Subba Rao Hall, Chennai.

In an effort to create an inclusive, diverse, accessible, wide-spread and community-oriented festival experience, we have curated several pre-events across multiple venues in Chennai.

This social entrepreneurship challenge where Kindness ignites innovation is a unique opportunity for our youth to pitch their social impact business ideas to a panel of sharks, learn about entrepreneurship and early stage investing.
