ICT Marathon 2019

      The ICT Marathon is an event that unites runners all over the city for a cause and epitomizes sportsmanship, camaraderie and heroism. With every edition of our Green Marathon, we aspire to reach out to more people and contribute to bringing the change we wish to see. From running for the dreams of underprivileged children to supporting the cause of Animal Welfare, ICT Marathon has slowly become the flagship event of Sportsaga. Every year, the proceeds of this event go towards charity and the associated NGOs whose causes are duly publicized through the event.

          Last year, ICT Marathon collaborated with Lakshya Foundation and around 4000 runners ran for a noble cause of paying homage to our armed forces for their supreme role in keeping our country safe and secure. this year, we vow to run towards 'Sustainability-the need of the hour' to heal ourselves and to create the future we want. We pledge to 'Run Before We Outrun'. Outrun the time, outrun our natural resources, outrun the very need to save our planet from desolation. So let us ponder over the danger looming large and act sensibly in our own interest to save our surrounding and future from devastation.

(Start and end point of the race will be the same)

10km: ICT run (Rs 350)

5km: JOY run (Rs 150)

All 10k participants will get T-shirts, Bib, Timing Certificates, Refreshments and Finisher medals.

All 5k participants will get Bib, Refreshments, Finisher medals and e-certificates.

Baggage room and washroom facilities will be made available on the race day.

 

RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Registrations and merchandise orders are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be modified.
2. There is no race day registration.
3. Kindly report to the venue 45 minutes before the commencement of the event.
4. Please carry a valid ID proof for verification at the time of bib collection and on the day of event.
5. No bib will be distributed on the race day and participants are requested to collect their bibs on the day of collection only.
6. Please ensure that there is no mutilation, fold, alteration or damage to the bib. Note that runners who fail to wear the bib on the chest as instructed will not get an official finish time and therefore an official timing certificate. Any person wearing an incorrect bib or no bib will be disqualified.
7. First aid and medical facilities will be available on the race day but the organizing team will not be liable for any loss, illness or injury that might occur as a result of your participation in the event.
8. Parking will not be provided inside the college premises.
9. Participants are advised not to carry any valuables on the race day. Organizers will not be accountable for the loss of baggage and belongings.
10. The organizing team reserves the right to reschedule the event in case of unavoidable circumstances and no refund will be given.
11. The decision taken by the organizing team will be irrevocable.
