HindAyan: Ride on for Health, Honour, and Heritage!

India has not won a single Olympic medal in cycling. The last Indian cyclist to qualify for the Olympics was in 1964. This painful gap is not just a statistic—it’s a wake-up call. HindAyan was born from a dream: to build a cycling movement that nurtures national talent, promotes a culture of fitness and sustainability, and celebrates the unity and heritage of our great country.

We began this initiative in 2019, but the global pandemic brought it to a sudden halt. Undeterred, we resumed in February 2023 with a pilot edition, where teams from the Indian Army and Navy joined hands—and pedals—with us. Since then, the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, has been supporting this bold experiment.

HindAyan is more than a race. It’s a symbol of resilience. For over four years, without corporate sponsorship, it has moved forward fuelled only by the dedication of volunteers and the goodwill of friends from the armed forces, civil services, and police. Together, we are not just creating an event—we are building a national legacy on two wheels.

HindAyan invites you to the 20 KM / 10 KM / 5 KM HindAyan Jaipur Cyclothon from Amar Jawan Jyoti to Jawahar Circle and back, on November 1, 2026, as part of 'Sunday on Cycle Mission' of Fit India, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India.

Event Name: HindAyan Jaipur Cyclothon

Date: November 1, 2026, Sunday.

Starting Point: Amar Jawan Jyoti, Jaipur Youth Hostel, Bhagwan Das Rd, High Court Circle, Jaipur, Rajasthan 302005, India.

1). Distance: 20 KM – Joy Ride (group ride, non-competitive).

Start Time: 6.00 am.

2). Distance: 10 KM - Joy ride (group ride, non competitive)

Start Time: 6.00 am

Difficulty Level: Moderate – open to 18 years and above age groups.

3). Distance: 5 KM

Start Time: 8.00 am

There would be police pilot and ambulance support for the ride. The Police Pilot will be always at front and ambulance at the end. If you have any medical issue, pull out your cycle and wait at the side of the road for the ambulance or back up van.

CANCELLATION

==========================

Cancellation / Transfer of Ticket / Refund / Adjustment to future events is not possible at all. Any requests received will not be eligible for a refund, under any circumstances.

Also, in case of occurrence of any unforeseeable circumstances / events / situations (even force majeure) due to any x-factor leading up to event cancellation, the event fees paid wouldn't be refunded under any circumstances.

ONLY APPLICABLE IN CASE OF NATURAL DISASTER or ANY OTHER EXTERNAL DISTURBANCE LEADING TO FORCE MAJEURE - There will be no future adjustment / carry forward of the fees towards any other event in any case, and the race format will be changed into a Virtual Ride / Race, for everyone. The physical takeaways like jersey, finisher medal (based on finish status) & other items (if any) shall be sent via courier 50 days after the virtual event.

RULES, REGULATIONS, ACCIDENT WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

I/We acknowledge that I/we have carefully read, understood, and voluntarily accepted the terms and conditions governing participation in the HindAyan Cycle Ride/Race and associated activities (hereinafter collectively referred to as “the Event”). I/We further acknowledge and agree that participation in the Event shall be entirely at my/our own risk, responsibility, and consequence.

Physical Fitness and Preparation

I/We understand that participation in the Event requires a high degree of physical fitness, mental preparedness, endurance, and structured training. I/We confirm that I/we have consulted a qualified medical practitioner who has certified that I/we are medically and physically fit to participate in the Event.

Awareness of Risks

I/We understand and acknowledge that participation in the Event may involve cycling and/or walking on public roads with moving vehicular traffic and may expose participants to inherent risks and hazards including, but not limited to, difficult terrain, slippery surfaces, adverse weather conditions, heat exhaustion, hypothermia, dehydration, collisions, accidents, negligence of other participants or third parties, actions of spectators, and operational decisions taken by Event officials and organizers.

Compliance with Rules

I/We agree to comply with all rules, regulations, instructions, and directions issued by the Event organizers, officials, marshals, volunteers, law enforcement authorities, and support personnel at all times during the Event.

Use of Name and Likeness

I/We hereby grant HindAyan and its authorized representatives the unrestricted right to use my/our name, image, photograph, video, voice recording, and likeness in any media, publication, promotional material, advertisement, or marketing campaign related to the Event without compensation or further approval.

Event Modification or Cancellation

I/We acknowledge and agree that the Event organizers reserve the right to modify, shorten, postpone, reroute, suspend, or cancel the Event at any time due to weather conditions, security concerns, governmental directives, force majeure events, safety considerations, or any unforeseen circumstances. I/We shall not hold the organizers, sponsors, government authorities, officials, volunteers, contractors, or affiliated entities liable for any loss, damage, expense, inconvenience, or claim arising out of such modification or cancellation.

Equipment and Participation

The organizers reserve the right to refuse participation to any person using inappropriate, unsafe, or non-compliant equipment, attire, or official jersey. The organizers further reserve the right to alter the published route without prior notice.

Accidents and Emergency Services

I/We accept full responsibility for any fees, charges, or expenses arising from accidents, injuries, emergency evacuation, ambulance services, police services, rescue operations, hospitalization, medical treatment, or repatriation resulting from or connected with my/our participation in the Event. In circumstances where I/we may be unable to make decisions independently, I/we authorize Event personnel, teammates, volunteers, or members of the public to seek emergency assistance on my/our behalf.

Insurance

I/We confirm that I/we have obtained adequate insurance coverage, including but not limited to sports activity insurance, accident insurance, travel insurance, medical insurance, cancellation coverage, personal belongings coverage, repatriation coverage, and third-party liability coverage. The organizers shall not be responsible or liable for any uninsured loss.

Data and Communication Consent

I/We acknowledge and consent that my/our contact information may be stored in the HindAyan database and used for Event-related communication, promotional updates, and related correspondence. I/We understand that I/we may unsubscribe from such communications at any time in accordance with applicable policies.

Medical Risks

I/We acknowledge that the Event is physically demanding and may involve serious medical risks, including permanent disability or death. I/We confirm that all relevant medical information, including physical, psychological, or emotional conditions, has been truthfully disclosed to the best of my/our knowledge.

Personal Responsibility

I/We understand that participants must recognize and respect their personal limitations. I/We accept responsibility for exercising sound judgment and for avoiding actions that exceed my/our physical or mental capabilities.

Specific Risks

Specific risks associated with cycling include, but are not limited to, falls, collisions, fractures, sprains, muscle injuries, dehydration, fatigue, hypoglycemia, hyperthermia, overuse injuries, disorientation, and traffic-related accidents. I/We acknowledge that these risks may result in severe injury or death.

Use of Drugs and Substances

I/We acknowledge that the use of prohibited drugs, stimulants, tranquilizers, diuretics, alcohol, or any substance that may impair judgment or increase medical risk before, during, or immediately after participation in the Event is strictly prohibited.

Injury Procedure

In the event of injury, illness, exhaustion, dizziness, or disorientation, I/we agree to immediately inform a fellow participant, volunteer, marshal, or Event official and to refrain from continuing participation where doing so may endanger my/our safety or the safety of others.

Route Changes

I/We acknowledge that the cycling route may be altered with or without prior notice due to security requirements, VIP movement, administrative directions, road conditions, public safety concerns, or other operational considerations.

ACCIDENT WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

1. I/We voluntarily assume full responsibility for all risks associated with participation in the Event, including risks of illness, injury, disability, property damage, or death.

2. I/We certify that all information provided in the application and medical declarations is true, complete, and accurate.

3. I/We understand that participation may occur on public roads with vehicular traffic, even where traffic regulation or police support is provided.

4. I/We confirm that I/we possess the necessary physical fitness and medical clearance required to participate safely in the Event.

5. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I/we hereby waive, release, discharge, and covenant not to sue HindAyan, its organizers, sponsors, committees, volunteers, government authorities, contractors, agents, representatives, officials, and affiliated entities from any and all liability, claims, demands, losses, damages, or causes of action arising out of or related to participation in the Event.

6. I/We authorize Event officials and medical personnel to arrange emergency transportation, hospitalization, and medical treatment if required. I/We agree to bear all related expenses and waive all claims arising from such medical assistance or related delays.

7. I/We agree to provide medical information reasonably requested by Event officials for safety and emergency purposes.

8. I/We acknowledge that neither the organizers nor associated entities are obligated to provide medical treatment, rescue services, evacuation, or transportation.

9. I/We agree that neither the organizers nor associated entities shall be liable for illness, injury, death, or loss arising from pre-existing medical conditions, undisclosed conditions, force majeure events, natural disasters, civil disturbances, terrorism, accidents, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

10. I/We irrevocably authorize HindAyan and associated entities to share participation-related information with affiliated organizations for operational purposes connected with the Event.

11. I/We irrevocably permit HindAyan to use photographs, videos, recordings, and media content captured during the Event for promotional, documentary, marketing, and publicity purposes worldwide without compensation.

12. I/We shall not hold the organizers or sponsors responsible for any loss, delay, or damage relating to registration documents, applications, payments, or communication failures.

13. I/We consent to receive information, updates, promotional communication, and offers from HindAyan and authorized partners through email, telephone, or electronic communication.

14. I/We agree to indemnify and hold harmless HindAyan, its organizers, sponsors, officials, volunteers, government authorities, employees, and representatives against any third-party claims, liabilities, damages, or legal actions arising directly or indirectly from my/our participation in the Event.

15. I/We acknowledge that this Waiver and Release of Liability shall be binding upon my/our heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives, successors, and assigns.

16. I/We confirm that I/we have carefully read and fully understood this document and voluntarily agree to all terms and conditions stated herein.
