WIPPA Global Wind Day Run 3.0

15th June is the Global Wind Day – a day to appreciate and acknowledge the power of wind!

To spread awareness of how wind energy is enabling the planet’s transition from fossil fuels to green power, WIPPA, Wind Independent Power Producers Association, is back with its flagship ‘Global Wind Day Run’. In its 3rd edition this year, we have made it – BETTER & BIGGER – 1 km (non-timed run), 3 kms (non-timed run), 5 kms (timed run) & 10 kms (timed run) on 1st June at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi.

Reporting time – 5:30 AM, 1st June 2025. The Global Wind Day run will be for WIPPA members only and for their families.

Every participant will get a T-shirt, cap, and a water bottle before the run, along with a medal and refreshments upon the completion of the run. Runners will have hydration support along the run route.
