The EDII sports committee reserves the right to bring changes in the format without prior intimation.

No personal request to bring changes in the format will be entertained under any circumstances.

However, these changes might be bought in order to suit thecircumstances.

Each player of winning team (individual sports) will get a certificate of Appreciation.
Each player of winning team (individual sports) will get a medal.
Individual sports winner gets gift voucher worth upto RS 35,000 exclusively.
Overall sports winner gets to lift the EQUIPO'19 trophy.

Eligibility

All bonafide full time students of colleges, who will be receiving degree/diploma from their respective colleges, will be eligible to participate.

Format

The Format of the tournament is Knock out. In case there are odd number of teams, bye will be awarded to any team on a random basis (applicable for first round only). And in successive rounds, team with highest run rate/ differential score will get a bye.
There will be neutral professional referees appointed wherever necessary.
The decision of the referee will be final and abiding to all participating teams.
All the teams should ensure that their players carry their Institute Identity Card at all the time. A player without an Institute I-card will be not be allowed to play.
There is no cap on the contingent size for any participating institute. However, every sport will have a cap on total number of players in the squad. Institute will be awarded as the winners in all respective sports individually and the second position will be as runners-up.
All sports will be played according to standard rules of the sport except a few changes which are mentioned below individually. Details about each sport are given in the document above.
The order of matches will be fixed and all participating institutes will be notified in advance. The schedule will not be changed except for genuine reasons about which the Sports Committee members’ decision will be final and abiding.

Conduct/ Grievances

The decision of the referees/umpires will be final and binding, and no protest will be entertained on the field. Therefore, any team leaving the field of play and conceding a walk over as a mark of protest will be deemed to have lost that fixture and will in turn be disqualified from the event.
The timings of matches will be strictly followed. Any team will be permitted a grace period of 15 minutes from the announced time of an event, after which a walk over shall be granted to the opposition, unless genuine reasons are presented by the captain of the team, and the reasons are accepted by the Sports Committee.
Any player found to be misbehaving with EDII staff / community or damaging the institute infrastructure will be severely dealt with which may amount to, but not limited to, disqualifying the player from the event.

Expenses / Facilities

The participating institutes will have to arrange for their transportation on their own.
Accommodation is provided in campus for which the participating students have to pay per person.
