The Bhor Mountain Triathlon And Duathlon". The event, which is the second edition of Open Water Bhor Mountain Triathlon And Duathlon, will be held in the heart of nature with surrounding hills and water bodies making the event cooler and comfortable. With the temperatures on the rise in cities, you will find an invigorating and refreshing environment and atmosphere here. At village Natambi, Bhor , 63 Km from Swargate St Stand Pune.
REGISTRATIONS:
Registrations will open on 9th July 2019 till 3rd August 2019 or whenever the optimal number of registrations are done.
Early Bird Entries Dates: 9th of July 2019 to 17th of July 2019.

Q. Reporting time at event venue?
Ans. 5.15 am.
Q. Start/Flag off Time ?

Q. Bibs Collection?
Ans. Prior to the event. Venue will be declared very shortly.
Q.What includes in the Registration fees?
Ans. Time chip, Bibs, Finisher medal, Online certificate, T-Shirt, Tea on arrival, Hydration that includes water, energizer, bananas, swimming support by Speed boat, life guards with ropes &tubes, Ambulance support, Doctors support. Post event Brunch will include limited eggs , limited chicken, unlimited rajma , rice, Salad. Trophies will be given for first Three standings in each category provided the number of registration for the category goes above 10.
Q. Is the swimming event conducted in the swimming pool ?
Ans. The Swimming leg will be conducted in a Natural Lake amidst scenic surroundings . Please be assured that all safety measures will be in place to make this a safe and pleasant experience for all.
Q. What is not included in entry fees?
Ans. Apart from What has been mention above (e.g. travel, cycle transport, Stay, dinner, etc).
Q. What type of Accommodation is available ?
Ans. Newly Built 5 rooms with attached WC toilets with capacity of 4 people each at a cost of 700 per head. Apart from that 8 tents which can accommodate 4 people each with no toilets attached to it at a cost of Rs.400 per head. External Indian common Toilets are available. The total accommodation capacity is 52 people. Accommodation will be provided on first come first serve basis. Sleeping bags will be provided. Please check the accommodation details at the our website http://umbervalley.com/. You need to carry your id proof Driving License/pan card with you. While handing over the sleeping bag you need to submit the original ID proof Copy which you can collect next morning after returning the sleeping bag.
Q. What type of food will be served ?
Ans. Evening Tea, Unlimited One Vegetable, Dal, Rice and Chapati will be provided for the people staying one day before the event at extra cost of 250 Rs. Per head.
Q. Visitor Ticket?
Ans. Cost of Visitors staying one day before the event will be 1500 Rs per head which includes stay, 2 meals and Tea.Cost of visitors on the day of the event will be 350Rs. per head which will include Brunch.
Q. Prior formalities to be completed before the event?
Ans. Proper copy of age proof should be submitted before the race which may include Driver’s license/Pan Card / Aadhar Card.Undertaking is to be provided by the Participants before the event starts.
Q. Types of Cycles ?
Ans. Leaving Road Bikes, all other cycles are allowed.
Q. Are cycles on Rent Available?
Ans. No.

Q. Is registration fee refundable?
Ans. No, registration fee will not be refunded once paid at any cost.
RULES AND REGULATIONS:
• The primary objective of a triathlon event is to complete all three components – swimming, biking, and running – in sequence over a determined distance in as little time as possible. These events are often crowded and require a significant amount of officiating to prevent chaos from happening before, during, or after the race. Due to the size of a triathlon event – in regards to popularity and overall scale – particular rules and regulations are enforced with the safety of the participants being the utmost concern. It is important that a triathlete knows and understands all of the rules and regulations pertaining to the sport’s events.
• Please give proper information while filling up the entry form. The contact details and email id should be properly mentioned as we need them for proper interactions and emergencies.
• The participants are participating in this event on their own risk. The organisers will not be responsible for any damages that happen during the race.
• Valuables and ornaments at your own risk.
• Your photos and videos during the event maybe used for publishing of the events.
• The organisers reserve the right to take final decisions on any issues regarding the event.
• Competitors must have their helmet on and strapped before mounting your bike.
• Competitors must walk or run in the transition area – no riding is allowed until competitors have reached the mount line.
• Competitors must have their race number pinned on and visible and their numbers on their bike and helmet.
• Competitors must not follow the biker in front of them too closely. They must be at least two bike lengths behind them.
• Competitors must ride their bike as far to the right side of the lane as possible. They can only pass on the right (within the lane) and then must immediately return to the left. Violation of this rule is blocking, so you must let the faster riders pass by.
• Competitors must rack their bike properly and respect your fellow competitors’ equipment.
• Competitors must follow the directions of the Race Officials and Marshals at all times and without any question.
• Competitors must not wear headphones. They must be alert, aware, and must know the course.
• Competitors must wear their timing chip throughout the race. After crossing the finish line they must hand it to a race official to receive an official time.
• Cyclists must obey all applicable traffic laws at all times.
• All competitors must strictly refrain from indulging in Unsportsmanlike Conduct such as using foul, harsh, argumentative, abusive language or other undesirable conduct towards Race officials, Bhor Triathlon officials, volunteers, spectators or fellow athletes.
• Race Numbers All athletes are required to wear race numbers at all times during the run. Numbers must face the front and be clearly visible at all times. Numbers may not be cut or folded or altered in any way.
• Do not transfer your number to any other athlete or take a number from an athlete that is not competing.
• Headphones, headsets, Walkman etc. are not to be worn at any time during the race.
• Participants for event (except Kids event) should be above 18 years of age.
• Minimum participation for every individual category will be min 10 numbers, then only it will be considered as an competition and trophies and certificate will be allotted otherwise it will be considered as an time trial.
• Minimum participation for relay category will be 5 teams then only it will be considered as an competition and trophies and certificate will be allotted otherwise it will be considered as an time trial.
