Fun Run (non-timed) - 3 KM - Children above 5 years can also participate in the 3 KM Fun Run provided they are accompanied by an adult family member

After two successful editions, EKAL RUN Half Marathon is now back with its 3rd edition in Pune!
Mahesh Industrial Group (MIG) invites you to have a fun filled fitness run and raise awareness and funds for education of children!


ABOUT US:

EKAL INDIA (https://www.ekal.org/in) is a non-profit organization, established in 1989, on a mission to bring basic education to every child across rural India. Ekal believes the best way to fulfill their mission is to encourage people across the world to embrace their cause. Ekal is active in more than 10 countries around the globe. The main activity undertaken in this movement is to run one-teacher schools (known as Ekal Vidyalayas) all over India, in the remotest rural & tribal villages to take the education to every child. As on today, FTS along with its associates are running 45035 Ekal Vidyalayas in India through 37 chapters in 24 states. In Maharashtra alone, 2460 Vidyalayas are run in Wada, Shahada, Nashik, Ghoti, Amravati, Yavatmal, Chandrapur, Gondiya, Nanded and Narayangaon tribal areas. Out of which almost 420 Vidyalayas are in and around Narayangaon near Pune.


MAHESH INDUSTRIAL GROUP (MIG) (https://migindia.org/) is a not for profit organisation, committed to promote and encourage new age entrepreneurs and be a networking platform for fellow Maheshwari Industrialist. It act as a catalyst in promoting social, economic and industrial development, to encourage and empower industrial and entrepreneurial activities by providing social cum professional forum for interaction among the members.

Mahesh Professional Forum (MPF) Pune is a platform of Maheshwari Professionals, operating under the aegis of Mahesh Forum Charitable Trust (MFCT). MPF’s vision is to build ethical values for its members and shape their professional and personal life through networking, collaboration, cooperation, and progress with holistic knowledge and share the experiences with the youth and assist seniors to foster relationships in the golden years. With over 16 active chapters in the city, MPF Pune offers a values-driven space to grow, mentor, and give back not only to its members but also society at large.

INDIVIDUAL PARTICIPATION:
Each ticket includes T-Shirt, Bib, Timing chip (only competitive category), Finishers Medal, Route Support, Post Race Refreshments, e-Certificates and personalized photographs!

• 21 KM Timed Run (Half Marathon): Cut off time - 3 hrs 30 min
• 10 KM Timed Run: Cut off time - 2 hrs
• 5 KM Timed Run
• 3 KM Non-Timed (Fun Run) - Children above 5 years can also participate in the 3 KM Fun Run provided they are accompanied by an adult family member

CORPORATE RUN: 5 KM Timed Run OR 10 KM Timed Run
A Corporate can participate in the Corporate Run with
Minimum team size = 10 (for 5 KM Timed Run)
Minimum team size = 5 (for 10 KM Timed Run)

The Corporate Run will be an inter-company as well as an intra-company competition amongst the participating company and its employees.
The employees of the participating corporate will receive customized t-shirt and all other individual benefits (Bib, Timing chip, Finishers Medal, Route Support, Post Race Refreshments, e-Certificates and personalized photographs).
In addition to the winner certificates to the respective company, the fastest runner within each participating company will also get a winner certificate.

RUN TO EDUCATE:

• Charity Runner - Sponsor the participation of a EKAL student in the run.
• Charity donation - In addition to your participation in the run, donate amount to EKAL for charity and support the education of a EKAL student.

Please note: It is compulsory to collect bib and t-shirt for the run. Participants without bib will not be allowed to participate in the run.

Collection of bib & t-shirt will be on Sat, 3 Jan 2026 (Venue and timing to be confirmed later)

RULES & REGULATIONS:

1. All participants must abide by the rules and regulations of EKAL RUN. The decision of the Race Director and other associates of EKAL RUN will be final & binding in any case.
2. All participants must understand and participate in EKAL RUN at their own personal risk.
3. All participants must be physically fit and mentally able to participate in EKAL RUN. The responsibility of the same lies with the participant alone. In case of minor participant, the responsibility of the same resides with the parents/guardians.
4. Top 3 in each of the competitive running distance categories will be awarded in men's and women's (except Fun Run)
5. The results will be based on time chip.
6. Race organizers, sponsors or any entity associated with the race organizers will NOT be responsible for any theft, damage, and physical injury happening during the race. The race organizers will take care to provide first aid assistance as fast as they can in case of emergency.
7. All participants are required to obey the rules and regulations laid by the organizers. Non-compliance to the rules will result in disqualification.
8. No participants will be allowed on the venue without the bib numbers. Individual numbered bibs will be provided to each and every participant, which should be worn and visible in the front part of every runners body. Do not hide your bib numbers with clothing.
9. No Bibs will be distributed on the race day.
10. All participants must stay on the official marked route during their run. There will be disqualification from the run if the participant shortcut the route by not following the signage, voluntarily or involuntarily.
11. Participants must not throw trash/rubbish/garbage on the route and in the venue. Any trash to be thrown in the dedicated trash cans only. Keep the environment clean.
12. There will be a straight disqualification from the run if you have caused physical harm and injury to any of the fellow participants.
13. By registering for EKAL RUN, participants agree to give full consent to the medical staff for providing medical treatment during the event.
14. Participants agree to pay the registration fees in full at the time of registration, and understand there will not be any refund/transfer for paid amount in any circumstance.
15. Participants release and waive EKAL RUN organizers, their volunteers, and partners from liability for all losses, damages, injury, claims, demands, expenses, and any other liability, physical, psychological, or otherwise, directly or indirectly arising out of your participation in EKAL RUN.
