MTB NORTHEAST INTERNATIONAL
The 300 Km MTB Northeast International, World's Longest and Toughest One Day Cycling Race is being held on 30th December, 2025 at Namsai, the Gateway to Eastern Arunachal Pradesh, India. The starting point is Namsai and will travel through the breathtaking landscape of Namsai, Lohit and Anjaw district of Arunachal Pradesh and culminate at Kaho, the First and the Easternmost Village of India bordering China.
The MTB Northeast Challenge is not just an ordinary sporting event; it is a celebration of endurance, camaraderie, and the indomitable spirit of human endeavour. It is now, the Longest One Day MTB race in the World, setting the stage for an unprecedented display of athleticism and determination.
With participants hailing from Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh and 18 different states of India, the MTB Northeast Challenge promises to be a truly global affair, uniting cyclists from diverse backgrounds and cultures in a shared pursuit of excellence in the land of Khamti, Mishmi and Meyor tribes.
In addition to the thrilling race, the MTB Northeast Challenge will feature workshop on (i) Menace of Drug Abuse, (ii) Art of Professional Cycling, and (iii) Preservation of Nature, Culture & Environment, providing valuable insights and promoting awareness among participants and spectators alike.
This year, the cyclists will also get a chance to participate in the 1st Sunrise Festival at Dong Valley.
