Jewellery Making Workshop (online)

This course explores the possibility of making beads and creative pendants with clay, by using different textures , shapes and embedding objects into clay to create your own unique handmade necklace, earring and bracelets.

Course Outline: 

- The creative bit is designing the piece to the desired shape and using the textures.

- Introduction to the type of clay used in Jewellery

- Drawing the required design and texture

- Shaping, texturing, making beads and embedding objects in clay

- Painting the pieces and its beading

- Making clasps, earring, tying knots

- The first week we will make the pendants and the beads the next class will paint and finish the piece

- Application of tools and materials

Material Required: 

Clay (air dry clay or if you wish to fire the pieces, clay can be purchased from our studio), Small plastic or wooden, Tooth picks, fork wooden rods for textures, Plate, Small beads, bottle caps, Acrylic colours, Paint Brush, Palette, Jar, Beading thread (we can do with embroidery threads), Clasps, 0.5 mm wire, jump ring, 3 pliers, Fevi quick .

We can fire the pieces at our studio if the clay is purchased from us.

Course fees: Rs.1500+gst for 2 sessions
