For the 30 K category, we start the race from right turn after Pinjore Toll and join the race along with the runners of the 55 K category. However, the runners of this category would be enjoying the fresh morning views of the race route through the Morni Hills Reserve Forest to the Tikkar Taal.

The race starts from the New Lake Sec 42 in Chandigarh and brings the runners to the climbs of Morni Hills Forest Reserve. The race route is minimally flat in the first 15 KM and by the time sun comes up, the runners would be surviving an uphill course for a decent part of the race. It is the finishing experience and the location of the lake that the last leg of the race is a downhill reception.
