Vrukshathon Half Marathon 2024

Vrukshathon 2024 is a Half Marathon organized by FITNESS FIRST INDIA.

Vrukshathon Half Marathon is a flagship event conceptualized & organized by Fitness First INDIA to spread environmental awareness and promote the spirit of health & fitness.

In the inaugural year – 10th June 2018, we distributed a tree sapling to all 2000 participants who completed the run. We also Pledged that all participants who preserve the tree sapling and show documented growth of the tree as proof will be offered free registrations for the upcoming year – 2019; and the response we are getting for this initiative is tremendous.

We also aim to prepare athletes for various national & international events by providing training through Fitness First INDIA, giving them relevant exposure.

The Vision and Mission of Vrukshathon is to spread the message that humans can't survive and be fit without trees and a healthy environment; hence we need to learn to co-exist with nature.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• Age limit: Participants need to be at least 16 years old for the 10km run and 21km (Half Marathon).
  
• Please choose the race category carefully, confirmed registrations are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be modified
  
• Regular updates will be posted on the FITNESS FIRST INDIA Facebook page an our official website - www.vrukshathon.com.
  
• You are aware that running long distance runs is an extreme sport and can be injurious to body and health.
  
• You take full responsibility for participating in the in Vruskshathon Half Marathon and do not Fitness First INDIA or any of its members/affiliates/entities responsible for any injury or accident. You shall consult your physician and undergo a complete medical examination to assess your suitability to participate in the event.
  
• You also assume all risks associated with participating in this event including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat or humidity, traffic and other conditions of the road, arson and terrorist threat and all other risks associated with a public event. You agree that the Fitness First INDIA shall not be liable for any loss, damage, illness or injury that might occur as a result of your participation in the event.
  
• You agree to abide by the instructions provided by the organizers from time to time in the best interest of your health and event safety.
  
• You also agree to stop running if instructed by the Race Director or the medical staff or by the aid station volunteers
  
• You confirm that your name, photos and media recordings taken during your participation may be used by FITNESS FIRST INDIA on their website, social media pages, and other media for promotional purposes.
  
• You confirm that, in the event of adverse weather conditions, major incidents or threats on the day of the event, any of the force majeure of the restriction by authority, FITNESS FIRST INDIA reserves the right to Stop/Cancel/Postpone the event.
  
• You understand that confirmed registrations and merchandise orders are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be modified. FITNESS FIRST INDIA reserves the right to reject any application without providing reasons. Any amount collected from rejected applications alone will be refunded in full (excluding bank/payment gateway charges, etc. wherever applicable)
  
• Runners are recommended to stay off the course beyond the cut-off time considering safety and traffic regulations.
  
• For any reason if you are unable to turn up on the race day, no refund of any form will be given.
  
• If this registration is being made on behalf of a minor, I confirm that I am the parent/guardian of the child and that he/she has my permission to take part in the event. I further concur that all the above rules shall apply to him/her as if he were an adult.
  
• Participants must personally appear to collect the bibs and/or kits. Bibs can be distributed in-absentee with the written consent of the registered runner
  
• Participants understand and agree that they may be contacted by the sponsors, partners and promoters of the event for marketing and promotion of offers and grant explicit permission to send him/her communication on his/her mobile number and email address provided in the registration form.
  
• Internet handling fee per ticket may be levied. Please check your total amount before payment.
  
• Tickets once booked cannot be exchanged or refunded.
  
• We recommend that you arrive at least 20 minutes before flag-off time.
  
• VRUKSHATHON Run race route for 10k & 21k will be certified by FITNESS FIRST INDIA
  
• T-shirts cannot be exchanged for another size. The size selected during booking will be considered final.
