You will get an experience of thousands of newly hatched Olive Ridley turtles taking their first steps towards the big blue sea.

10:00 pm - Meet the Mumbai Weekenders team at Oberoi mall , Goregaon on Western Highway

10.40 pm Pickup from K Star Mall , Chembur

                - 11.15 pm Pickup from Vashi Below Main Bridge

                - 12.45 pm Pickup from Mcdonald’s kalamboli, panvel

Overnight Journey to Velas

Day 01 - Saturday

05:00 am - Reach Velas and check in to our homestay

06:00 am - Freshen up & Get ready for the first visit to turtle hatching site

06:30 am - Introduction round & Watch the turtle hatching

08:00 am - Come back to the village for breakfast

10:00 am - Leave for Bankot fort

11:00 am - Reach Bankot fort & Explore

12:30 pm - Leave from Bankot fort

01:30 pm - Have lunch

04:00 pm - Visit the Beach for Turtle hatching

06:30 pm - Watch Documentary

07:30 pm - Play fun games

08:30 pm - Dinner & Night strolling

10:00 pm - Hit your bed & retire for the day

Day 02

06:00 am - Wake up Call

06:30 am - Wake up and leave for Velas beach for the last sighting

08:00 am - Come back to home stay & Have breakfast

10:00 am - Leave for Harihareshwar beach

11:30 am - Visit temple and spend some time besides the beach

12:30 pm - Have delicious Konkani Delicacies at Harihareshwar beach

01.30 pm - Relax near beach for sometime

02:30 pm - Start return journey

10:30 pm - Reach Mumbai (Tentatively)

Travel from Mumbai to Velas and back in A/C vehicle

Breakfast,Lunch on Day 01, Day 02 and Dinner on Day 01

Basic homestay with washroom facilities and bed in velas village (No separate rooms)

Ferryboat charges between velas and harihareshwar

Smoking cigarettes, chewing tobacco or related products and consuming alcohol is strictly prohibited in the event. Anyone found in possession of the same or consuming it will be expelled from the trek. NO REFUND will be provided.

In case of any injury, sickness, accident, death or any other casualty or loss or damage of valuables or luggage or any equipment; Mumbai Weekenders, it’s instructors, organizers, volunteers or any other person involved wholly or partially, either individually or jointly, shall not be responsible in any manner for the same and no claims of the participants, parents, guardians, relatives or friends of participants will be entertained.

Littering is strictly not allowed on treks. Do not leave empty plastic bottles, biscuits or chocolate wrappers behind. We must carry our own garbage/leftovers back to the city.

Do not carry lots of cash, gold or any valuables. We are not responsible for the loss.

At the event, the trek leader’s decision will be the final decision and no argument will be entertained.

Organizers of the event reserve any right to cancel the event due to unexpected weather ,lack of participants or any other reasons.

 If cancellation done prior to 10 days of outing 75% of total event cost will be refunded.

 If done prior to 5 days of outing 50% of total event cost will be refunded.

 After that, no refund will be provided.
