DESCRIPTION :

VARSHA Marathon 2025 is an annual event dedicated to promoting NATIONAL SPORT'S DAY. The inaugural marathon was held on August 25, 2024, organized by FORCE ONE FOUNDATION in collaboration with GONDIA CAREER LAUNCHER SPORT'S ACADEMY.

Registration fees :  ₹ 51/-        

Details of the Pre-event Expo to collect your bibs(chest no.) and T-shirt will be sent to you on the 10 th of AUGUST 2025 .

Participants had the option to choose from several race categories, including

RACE CATEGORY EVENTS :

1) 21 KM Half Marathon (open)

2) 11 KM Run ( under 19)

3) 5 KM (under 17)  - only for Gondia District students

4) 5 KM "Run For Fun" Run (open)

Aim of this marathon to promote the importance of sports and physical activity for overall well-being, and to honor the legendary hockey player, Major Dhyan Chand. The day encourages people of all ages to participate in sports, cultivate a sports culture, and recognize the achievements of athletes.

Additional Information:

1. Age Requirement: Participants must be at least 14 years of age for the 11km run and 21km (Half Marathon) to ensure the safety and appropriate challenge level for all runners.

2. Registration Policy: Once confirmed, registrations are final; they are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be modified under any circumstances.

3. Event Updates: Participants are encouraged to regularly check the Gondia Career Launcher Sport's Academy instagram page for the latest updates and information.

4. Health and Safety: Participation in the Varsha Marathon 2025 held in Gondia is at your own risk. Participants should assess their own fitness and health conditions and consult with a healthcare provider prior to the event.

5. Compliance with Rules: By entering this event, you agree to comply with all rules and follow instructions issued by the organisers for the safety and integrity of the event.

6. Media Consent: Participants grant ForceOne Foundation & Gondia Career Launcher Sport's Academy the right to use their name, photographs, and media recordings for promotional and advertising purposes without compensation.

7. Event Changes: The organisers retain the right to cancel, postpone, or modify the event at any time due to unforeseen or unavoidable circumstances.

8. Arrival Time: Participants are recommended to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start of their race to facilitate a smooth running of the event.

9. T-Shirt Policy: T-shirt sizes are final once registered and cannot be exchanged. Participants are advised to choose their sizes carefully during registration.

NOTE :

1) The decision of the Arbitrator shall be final.

2) Runners of the Under 17 group should submit their Aadhar card/school bonafide or birth certificate. (Admission in the Under 17 group will be up to class 12)

3) The organization will not be responsible for any kind of physical harm to the runners; the runners themselves will be responsible.

4) All the relevant rules/information will be informed in time.

5) All participating runners must register themselves by 10 August 2025.

6) It will be mandatory to complete the registration by the given date.

7) It will be mandatory for the winning runner to show his fitness certificate while receiving the prize.

8) Accommodation has been arranged for the runners coming from outside.

9) All the participants of the competition are required to show their birth certificate OR adhaar card.

10) It will be mandatory for all the runners to wear T-shirt/chest number given by the Foundation while running.

11) Offline application is mandatory for runners of Gondia district.
