The teaching-learning center at IIITDM Kancheepuram has set-up a model makerspace for teachers of universities and colleges for developing affordable DIY edtech. The teachers can use the makerspace to instill the maker culture among students and enable them to become innovators. Schools and colleges also use the maker space to adopt project-based learning pedagogy in their teaching-learning process. Startups and accelerators can also setup affordable makerspace using open-source DIY manufacturing technologies.
TLC at IIITDM Kancheepuram is organizing a three days workshop on makerspace development from 24th to 26th September 2020.
In this three days workshop, basic training on programming Arduino, DIY CNC machines, DIY 3D printers, CNC laser cutters, and basic training on tools of makerspace would be provided.
The workshop will be held in online mode. Please see the attached brochure for more details.
