With the onset of monsoons, millions of fireflies light up the forests and the valley all around Purushwadi and its neighbouring villages. This area is a biodiversity hotspot for fireflies. A phenomenon that will leave you awestruck.

Once the first rains hit the ground at Purushwadi and Wanjulshet, fireflies are seen. Please note, these dates are decided as per previous year's monsoon patterns.
