Event Description

Pune Women's Half Marathon is an event to celebrate womanhood and a woman’s own revolution. It's a celebration of the ability of each individual woman to transform generations by transforming herself. Join us for a top rated running experience. 

The event is a platform to bring all women from different walks of life to experience the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.

• All participants will receive t-shirts, medals, bibs, and breakfast, along with a zumba warm up and cool down.

• Timing chip and an e-certificate is ONLY for 10km and 21km runners. There are NO e-certificates for the 4km run.

• Prizes for 10km and 21km winners (open category).

• Please register ONLY IF YOU CAN PARTICIPATE ON RACE DAY, as registrations are limited.

Terms and Conditions for Participation to PWHM 2019

• Please choose the event category carefully. To participate in the 21km and 10km categories, you have to be 18 years or older as of March 10, 2019. Anybody applying and found to be underage in the 10km & 21km categories, will be automatically disqualified.

• Provide us with a secure email ID/mobile number which you access regularly, since this will be our primary means of communicating any information related to the event.

• Users of email services that offer filtering/blocking of messages from unknown email address or numbers, should add this email id service@townscript.com to their address list.

• We will send regular updates to the mobile number provided by you; this should be not treated as spam and you shall not take any action against our bulk SMS service provider.

• Any notice sent to the email address registered with the organizers shall be deemed as received by the runners.

• Please fill out only those fields that are necessary for mailing purposes. Do not provide redundant data in multiple fields (i.e., do not list the same data for city, province and country), as this will only complicate our ability to contact you.

• You are aware that long distance running is an extreme sport and can be injurious. Therefore, you take full responsibility for participating in Pune Women's Half Marathon 2019 and do not hold the organizing committee or any of it’s members or entities responsible for any injury or accident.

• You shall consult your physician and undergo a complete medical examination to assess your suitability to participate in the event.

• You also assume all risks associated with participating in this event including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat or humidity, traffic and the condition of the road, arson or terrorist threats and all other risks associated with a public event.

• You agree that Pune Women's Half Marathon shall not be liable for any losses, damage, illness or injury that might occur as a result of your participation in the event.

• You agree to abide by the instructions provided by the organizers from time to time, in the best interests of your health and the event’s safety.

• You also agree to stop running if instructed by the Race Director, medical staff, or the aid station volunteers.

• You confirm that your name and media recordings taken during your participation may be used to publicize the event.

• You may acknowledge and agree that your personal information can be stored and used by Pune Women's Half Marathon or any other company in connection with the organization, promotion and administration of the event and for the compilation of statistical information.

• You confirm that, in the event of adverse weather conditions, major incidents or threats on the day, any of the force majeure or restriction by authority, the organizers reserve the right to stop/cancel/postpone the event. The organizers reserve the right to reject any application without providing reasons.

• Runners will not be allowed to stay on the course beyond the cut-off time, in view of safety and health issues.

• We request total co-operation from runners in this regard.

1. Is there an age limit for participation?

Yes. To participate in the 10km or 21km category, one must be 18 years old or older as of March 10, 2019. Anybody applying and found to be underage will be automatically disqualified.

2. I did not get any email for my registration; what should I do?

1. Make sure your internet is working.

2. Check your spam mail. Make sure to check emails received from townscript’s email address.

3. Check the same email ID, which you registered with.

3. I registered for the event, but now I cannot participate in it. Could I get a refund?

Once registered, no cancellations, change of categories, or refunds will be entertained.

4. What is the race route?

Race route will be disclosed closer to the event date.

5. What is the last date to apply?

Registrations will close on February 24th, 2019 or once the running slots for each category are full, whichever is earliest. There are limited slots for each category, so registrations will close as soon as each category is full. Therefore, register early and save your running spot!

6.  I have made a mistake in the registration fields; how do I change it?

7.  Will there be e-certificates or prizes for the 4km category?

No. There are no prizes or e-certificates for the 4km category.
