What is the "EVEREST" ing event?
The concept of Everesting event is very simple: Participants have to walk/run up on the Sinhagad Fort via the Sinhagad Fort Ghat road and complete repeats of it in a single continuous activity until the elevation gained is 8,848 metres - the equivalent height of Mount Everest.
In order to achieve the elevation gain of Mt. Everest, participants will have to do 44 continuous repeats (climbs) of the event planned route (2.7 KM route) on Sinhagad Fort Ghat road. The participants only need to ascend the route to gain the elevation, and they will be brought down to the start point by road transport by the organizers.
EVENT DATE: 30th to 31st Oct, 2026 (Friday morning to Saturday afternoon)
TIME DURATION: 12 AM on 30th Oct until 12 PM on 31st Oct

EVERESTING CATEGORIES:
1) FULL EVERESTING: Participants have to gain the elevation of Mt. Everest (8,848 M) by doing 44 continuous repeats of the defined route by walk/run from start point to end point. Approx. 118 KM.

The participation in this category can be:
Please note: The team participation will be in a relay format in which each member must compulsorily complete a minimum of 10 repeats of the defined route. All the team members must report at the end point at completion of each repeat.
Registration fees per participant = INR 5999/- (Early bird at INR 4999/-)
Includes all meals for the race duration (1 breakfast, 1 lunch, 1 dinner, 1 midnight snack and 1 breakfast), campsite facility to rest & restroom facilities, drop to start point after completion of each repeat, race t-shirt (2 qty in case of individual participation), goodie bag, running bib, finisher medal, finisher trophy for team, hydration and nutrition, route support and physio + medical support.
2) HALF EVERESTING: Participants have to gain half of the elevation of Mt. Everest (8,848 M divided by 2 = 4,424 M) by doing 22 continuous repeats of the defined route by walk/run from start point to end point. Approx. 60 KM.

3) QUARTER EVERESTING: Participants have to gain quarter of the elevation of Mt. Everest (8,848 M divided by 4 = 2,212 M) by doing 11 continuous repeats of the defined route by walk/run from start point to end point. Approx. 30 KM.
Flag-off time: 10 PM on Friday, 30th Oct, 2026
Only individual participation is allowed in this category.
