SIETAR India:
The Society for Intercultural Education Training and Research (SIETAR) - India is a non-profit association of educators, researchers and trainers from a wide range of practical and academic disciplines who share a common concern for intercultural relations. SIETAR India is part of the global network of SIETAR organizations. Established in 1974, SIETAR has thousands of members world-wide with affiliates in many countries. SIETAR holds Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) status with the United Nations and the Council of Europe.
Why the Conference?
Inter-cultural sensitivity and cross-cultural competence is regarded as one of the most valuable skills required to succeed in today’s increasingly interconnected world. For global corporations, the need to leverage business opportunities, local competencies, specific skills and strengths across different geographies is key and therefore also the important need to address the challenges brought about by cultural differences in collaborating. The conference will focus on practical strategies to succeed in this shrinking geographical space and address the complexities of global interactions. The conference is a unique opportunity to learn about the ever changing and evolving world of Intercultural Competence and foster more conscious collaboration.

Conference Format:
The conference will open with a key note from a distinguished thought leader which will set the overall tone for the theme.
Over the two days there will be 15 sessions of 60/90 minutes each across 3 parallel tracks: Research / Practitioners / New Frontiers.
2 panel discussions. One focused on the importance and relevance of the conference theme to Corporate India and the second on Academics.

2. If a registered participant is unable to attend, the ticket may be transferred to a colleague at no additional cost. Transfer requests must be submitted via email before 31 October 2026 to: sietarindia@gmail.com
3. Tickets will only be refunded if the conference is cancelled by SIETAR India due to any unforeseen circumstances.
