The Sekhon Indian Air Force Marathon Guwahati 2026 (SIM Guwahati-2026) is a prestigious running event organized in honour of Flying Officer Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon, Param Vir Chakra, the only officer of the Indian Air Force to receive India's highest wartime gallantry award.

Medical Fitness Declaration

By registering for the Sekhon Indian Air Force Marathon, I confirm that I am Medically and Physically fit to participate in the race distance selected by me, considering my fitness, training and medical history.

I understand that running involves physical risks. Any medical issue, injury or health complication before, during or after the run, on the course or at the venue, shall be my responsibility.

Medical facilities, medical camps and ambulances will be available at the venue and along the route. However, participants are advised to listen to their body and not take unnecessary risks. If you experience dizziness, unusual discomfort, breathlessness, chest pain or any warning sign, stop immediately and seek medical assistance.

By registering, I acknowledge and accept this declaration and understand that the Indian Air Force and Innovative Sports & Leisure LLP (ISL), as the event organiser, shall not be held responsible for any medical condition, injury, illness or health-related complication arising from my participation in the event.
