Guest of Honor: The 2024 marathon was flagged off by Dr. Virendra Kumar, a Union Minister in the Government of India.

Purpose: The marathon aligns with the Government of India's Fit India Movement and aims to promote fitness and identify athletic talent.

Location: The event starts at the Sports Ground of Government Excellence Higher Secondary School, Venkat No. 1, Satna (MP).

Recognition: The Satna Half Marathon has gained international recognition through its various editions.

Prize Money: Total Prize Money - INR 3,82,000/- across various race/age categories:

5km - Overall Winners Only (No Age Groups) Top 3- Rs 5,100, Rs.3,100, Rs, 2,100

Consolation Prizes - Position 4, 5, 6 in all the above race categories shall be awarded Rs.1,100 each

1st edition: The Bundelkhand Marathon was organized on January 12, 2021, on National Youth Day.

2nd edition: The Satna Half Marathon was held on December 5, 2021.

3rd edition: The marathon took place on November 20, 2022.

4th edition: The 4th edition was held on September 3, 2023.

5th edition: The most recent edition was held on September 8, 2024.
