Event Overview

Run to Save Lives in association with Government Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS) & Gautam Buddha University (GBU) is a flagship cancer awareness run organized on the occasion of World Cancer Day, aimed at uniting communities for a powerful cause — cancer prevention, early detection, and patient rehabilitation.

This professionally managed run brings together students, healthcare professionals, corporates, runners, and citizens to take collective action against cancer while promoting fitness, responsibility, and compassion.

Purpose & Vision

Cancer continues to impact millions of lives across India. Through this run, we aim to:

* Raise awareness about cancer prevention, screening, and early diagnosis

* Encourage healthy lifestyles and physical activity

* Mobilize youth and corporates towards social responsibility

* Support cancer patients and survivors through rehabilitation initiatives

This is more than a run — it is a movement for awareness, dignity, and hope.
