A community-based learning centre within an active handloom village, where master weavers and official family artisans train participants aged 16+ in:
Traditional weaving techniques
Dyeing & natural colouring processes
Loom setting and maintenance
Textile history and cultural context
Ethical fashion and sustainable production
Participants will live in the village for two weeks, fully immersed in the craft ecosystem.
Training by certified/generational weavers
1. Accommodation with artisan families or community dorms
2. Local meals included
3. Certification upon completion
4. Guest sessions on sustainable fashion, rural entrepreneurship
+Participants attend fully funded, including: Travel stipend, Stay & food, Materials, Certification, Community contribution fee to artisans.
