Prerequisites
There are no specific prerequisites for attending this training or attempting the exam.
Certification
On successful completion of the Professional Scrum Master course, candidates will receive a password to attempt the Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) assessment, and can subsequently go on to undertake level II and III. The assessments are conducted by Scrum.org and the certification is maintained by them.
The Exam
The PSM I, II and III level certifications are achieved on obtaining a minimum passing score in a rigorous assessment, which is held online.
PSM I holders understand the basics thoroughly, and are able to use globally accepted terminology and approaches to Scrum.PSM II holders have a deep understanding of the principles and processes that underpin Scrum framework and can effectively apply Scrum in the organizational context. PSM III certification holders demonstrate a distinguished level of mastery over Scrum.
