One Day Workshop on Intellectual Property Rights on Innovation

Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, in association with Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology hosts an One Day Workshop on “Intellectual Property Rights on Innovation” on 15th of September 2017 at Seminar Hall, Meghnmad Saha Institute of Technology, Kolkata from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The programme will consist of a workshop that will cover the basic concepts to the detailed aspects of Nationally and Internationally accepted norms of IPR regime in collaboration with Patent Information Centre, PIC WBSCST, Kolkata and Patent Facilitation Centre, Technology Information Forecasting and Assessment Council PFC-TIFAC, GoI.

It will also host a “Patent Clinic” for providing useful information to protect Intellectual Property Rights. The detailed programme schedule along with the names of the resource persons has been attached.

It is to be noted that the programme will be inaugurated by our Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal.

Please note that the students and faculties interested in joining “Patent Clinic” must bring the Extended Abstract of their respective innovation.

We can accomodate only 65 registered attendees (50 student and 15 faculty attendees) in the first come first serve mode from the outside institutions. Hence please do hurry up to book your seat in the workshop.

Students and faculties from the host institution i,e Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology are encouraged to register for the workshop in the specified registration desk at the campus itself.
