Event Information
The line following bot has to follow the line and finish the track. The line’s width will be 24mm. That track will have some challenges. The bot should be able choose one path from a four-way junction. The bot should be well balanced because it will go through hilly path. The bot should neglect and move if there is 2cm break on the line which it has to follow. The bot should always follow the line even if there are sudden turns or curves. The bot which completes the whole track in least amount of time will have greater chances to win.
Disqualification category:
- If the dimensions of the bot do not satisfy then it will lead to disqualification (dimensions expected are height/width/length: 20cm/20cm/25cm at most)
- If the voltage supplied to the bot exceeds the given limit (12 volts)of voltage supply then this will lead to direct disqualification.
Judging criteria:
Points will be considered as per the time taken by the bot to solve the maze. And as per the capability of solving the loop inside the maze.
Certain points(bonus) are decided at each check point(hurdle) on the maze which aggregates 100 points as total score.
Time dependency:
maximum of 12 mins will be given to each team.
Scoring criteria:
- A = Points scored
- P = Penalties
- T = (720 –time taken by the bot)
- Total points scored = A + T - P
- The team with maximum points will be declared as the winner.
Miscellaneous conditions:
- In case, if the ball is dropped during completion of any hurdle then it is supposed to get back to the previous hurdle and pick the ball placed by the organizer at the previous hurdle itself. 5 points will be reduced as penalty
- If the bot is going against the track or falls off the track then the bot will be kept on the previous hurdle by the organiser.5 points will be reduced as penalty
- If player wants to skip the hurdle then 10 points will be reduced as penalty and no points will be awarded to that skipped hurdle.
Tie-breaker:
if any two or more teams scores(A + T - P) will become equal, then we will conduct a race on the same track without any pick and place and the bot which covers the specified part of the track(will be decided on the spot by coordinators) in the least amount of time will win the game.
Number of round:
- only one round will be there.
- If tie, another round will be conducted with modified tracks.
Prize money distribution:
- ₹5000/- will be awarded to the 1st runner up.
- ₹4000/- will be awarded to the 2nd runner up.
NOTE: “Participants of appreciation” certificate will be awarded to all the participants from the premises.
