MAMMCARE PINK CITY RUN 2019

In India the incidence of ‘Breast Cancer’ is on arise and is number one cancer in females. It is also responsible for maximum number of cancer related deaths. One in fifteen women in India is likely to suffer from Breast Cancer during her life time.

It is curable if detected at an early stage. Early detection is possible by creating awareness among masses about the disease and its early diagnosis by simple techniques as Breast Self-Examination (BSE) and mammography screening.

In India there is lack of awareness about this disease and its early detection.

Henceforth majority of the cases of Breast Cancer are diagnosed at an advance stage where the treatment is costlier and more painful. There is a big need for creating awareness among the masses about the fact that early detection save lives.

To spread the message, ‘Early Detection Save Lives’ we are conducting lectures series in various organizations and institutions. Along with this we are organizing a large running event the ‘MammCare Pink City Run’ on 13th October 2019.
