Thrill Zone is an organization working towards the establishment of running as a serious sport by means of marathons and extensive running. As we know, regular exercises keep us fit and healthy and so we're committed to the cause of healthy living, catering running fraternity to promote running culture.

We are glad to share that we have successfully executed 92 fitness events in cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chandigarh, and Dehradun to name a few. These events include running, cycling, Yoga, and karate, etc are supported by eminent personalities and dignified politicians and officials.

About The Lucknow Cycling Championship 2023

Venue - Janeshwar Mishra Park Gate Number 5

Distance:-  

54 km & 27 Km 13.5 km (All bikes are allowed) - All are with Timing Chips (Minimum required age 14 Years)

5 Km (Kid's Ride) - Fun Ride - Below 12 Years Age 

For All Riders - Cycling Jersey, Medal, Certificate, Refreshments, Hydration support, BIB with timing chip

54 km & 27 KM-

14 to 35 years (Top 3 male & 3 female)

36 to 55 (Top 3 male & 3 female)

56+ (Top 3 male & 3 female)

54 km & 27 KM

13.5 KM (Male/Female) - All bikes are allowed (Mountain/Road/Hybrid)

Only the top 3 males and 3 females will be announced as winners, there is no age category for the 14 km

Note:- On event day only the top 3 fastest males and 3 fastest females will be announced as winners, age categories winners will be announced on Facebook on Thrill Zone's page within 24 hours

Rules and Information for participants:

• All participants are directed to wear a secure helmet during the event for safety measures. 

• (No Helmet No Ride), Participants without helmets will not be allowed to take part in the event.

• It is advised that every cyclist carry his/her own safety gears and cycle kit (puncture and tool kit).

• Though we have kept sufficient water/refreshment points on the route, we suggest that participants carry a water bottle with them.

• Participants are requested to report an hour prior to the flag-off time.

• Prize distribution for the top 3 winners male & female in 54 km, 27 km & 13.5 km will be same time post-event, and age 

• The event will be a timed ride, all the participants will get 2 BIBs, one for the Bike and another Bib for the chest, it is mandatory 

• Take care when overtaking, be aware of traffic coming up behind you.

• Failure to follow rules may lead to disciplinary action including refusal of a start of race points/banning from the event.• Electric bikes are not allowed, if anyone is found riding an electric bike, he/she will be disqualified.

• Use of headphones is Prohibited.

• There will be a Physio team, Medal team, and Ambulance while event for Cyclists.

• There will be a Hydration point at 7 km, participants can refill their bottles at the hydration point.

• All the participants will get Cycling Jersey, Finisher Medal, Finisher Certificate, and Refreshments.

• No Entry Without BIB, only registered participants with BIB will be allowed to enter the venue.

• Technical officials will be available on BIB Expo-day participants can bring their bikes there to tag their bib.• If anyone is found using another’s bib he/she will be disqualified from the event and he/she can be banned from all future 

• BIB Expo will be on 28th January 2023 at the provided address, there will not be any bib collections on the event day.events.

• Timing and Timing certificates will be provided on the same day post-event.

• Time out is 4 hours, 3.5 hrs, 1.5 hours, and 30 Min for 54 km, 27 km, 13.5 km, and 5km respectively.

• No technical support will be provided on route for any distance riders.

• Photos of the event will be uploaded in two days.

• Physical certificate will be given to all participants post-event.

• While riding participants can call for any emergency at 8287856072 or 8630446801 • We advise that every participant ensure his own as well as the co-cyclist's safety when trying to overtake.

• In case of withdrawal, the BIB Number of that participant will be taken out by the officials only.

• Participants are advised to ensure good working conditions of their respective bikes before lining up at the starting point.• In case of some severe injury to a rider or life-threatening weather, the race can be terminated. Racers failing to heed the instruction of medical personnel and/or course marshals will be disqualified.

• Participants without a BIB Number will not be eligible to get any services from the event like Medal, Refreshments, Certificate, etc.• Entering into agreements or forming alliances (monetary or otherwise) to control or alter the results of the race will lead to disqualification.

• tantrums and uproarious behavior will not be entertained.• For the sake of humanity, we expect our participants to take prompt action and inform the officials en routé in case they find 

• Cheating, bad sportsmanship, temper. someone hurt or facing any difficulty.

                                      WAIVER & RELEASE FROM LIABILITY

 I know that Cycling or volunteering for a Cycling race is potentially hazardous activity, which could cause injury or death. I will not enter and participate unless I am medically able and properly trained, and by my signature, I certify that I am medically able to perform this event, am in good health, and am properly trained. I will be responsible for any issues in the cycle, broken or lost/stolen. Thrill Zone is not responsible for any mishappening due to natural disasters during the event. I agree to abide by any decision of a Cycling official relative to any aspect of my participation in the event Lucknow cycling championship 2023, including the right of any official to deny or suspend my participation for any reason whatsoever. I attest that I have read the rules of cycling and agree to abide by them. I assume all risks associated with running/Cycling/Volunteering in this event, including but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat and/or humidity, traffic, and the conditions of the road, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. I understand that skateboards, baby joggers, roller skates or roller blades, animals, and personal music players are not allowed in cycling and I will abide by all cycling rules. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Thrill Zone, the group of cyclists of India, all event sponsors, their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver. If someone else will pick the Cycling BIB on behalf of the Participants his/her will be responsible for everything mentioned above statements. I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use my photographs, motion pictures, recordings, and video recordings or any other record of this event for any race purpose. Thrill Zone will not be responsible for any cycling accessories if found lost/broken after the event.
