Library Love - Workshop on writing over 2 zoom sessions by Maya Sharma Sriram

My sessions will be in March,, over Zoom, over two Zoom sessions. It will be in English and will be for intermediate practitioners of the craft . The focus of the workshop will be on Creating Strong Characters. I will not be able to give feedback on your work beyond the session

It will be online and over two consecutive days, any two evening 7pm to 7:40 pm

About the offerer:

Maya Sharma Sriram is writer- poet. She writes fiction, and poetry, both of which have been published in many journals and anthologies, including Mused Literary Journal, Kavya Bharathi, Poetry Today l, Indian Journal of Writing, and Quest. Her poem was also a part of the anthology 'Poetry India- Voices In Time' , 1993, a collection of short listed poems to the British Council- Poetry Society of India contest. She is the winner of the Elle Fiction award, 2010. She has been long listed for the Commonwealth Short Story award, 2019. Her short stories were performed as part of the Speaking Stories series by the renowned theatre person, Prasanna Ramaswamy. She co-curated and co- hosted the Chennai Lockdown Literary Festival 2020. She is also the author of the book, 'Bitch Goddess for Dummies'.
