About the Offerer:

Avtar Singh is the author of "Into the Forest" (2024), "Necropolis" (2014), and "The Beauty of These Present Things (2000). His new novel, "The Pretenders", will be published in 2025. He was founder-editor of "Time Out Delhi", and his writings have been published in "The Washington Post", "The Hindu", "Seminar", "Foreign Policy", "India Today", "Nikkei Asian Review", among others. He has lived and worked in India, the USA, China, and Germany.
