Certified Lego® Serious Play® 1.0 Change Facilitator 2 Days workshop - Bangalore

About the Workshop

Lego® Serious Play® is a world recognised hands-on technique for facilitating the exploration of challenges, using unique approaches with inclusive groups as they tackle the ups and downs of personal and professional development opportunities.

This workshop will focus on building your skills as a Lego® Serious Play® 1.0 (LSP1.0) facilitator. 

Certification will be awarded to attendees who complete the workshop content and successfully deliver a short, facilitated workshop event at the end of Day 2.

On Day 1 you will be introduced to the benefits of the approach and learn the three core elements of LSP: challenge, build and share for individual, group and connected building. We will also explore the needs for clarity of challenge and using LSP to help define that challenge as well as potential for coaching and facilitating others through change.

On Day 2 you will learn how to apply the day 1 learning through practical application of the learning as well as define a workshop and practice facilitating an activity individually and with others. 

Day 1: Learning Lego® Serious Play® 1.0 facilitation Techniques:

Objectives: 

• Understand the value of kinesthetic learning and facilitation techniques
• Learn about the Lego® Serious Play® approaches to individual and group activities
• Build a detailed understanding of the application of LSP to solution finding, exploration of challenges and other situations in a professional workplace
• Gain insight to using the tools in action through collaborative LSP activities

Attendees will be guided through hands on learning activities, using LSP techniques as key to their learning experience, to enable their understanding of the core approaches. There will be several opportunities to practice and undertake the techniques, as well as sharing of the experience and communication approaches to facilitate a LSP event.

Day 2: Design and Delivery of Lego® Serious Play® 1.0 facilitation:

Objectives: 

• Understand how to design a workshop using LSP as its core delivery vehicle
• Practice delivery of designed workshops for individual and group activities
• Build a toolbox of facilitator techniques as they apply to personal, professional and organisational change

The core of day 2 will be constructing impactful workshops and facilitating groups with LSP techniques. Every attendee will have the ability to practice design, delivery and learning approaches. There will be group discussions and an exploration of communication and recording techniques to capture outcomes. 

Day 2 will conclude with an assessed facilitation exercise to achieve certified facilitator status.

Our Trainer:

Rich Batchelor

Rich is a very highly respected international change management professional with extensive experience delivering successful outcomes to engagements in business transformation, enterprise technology solutions and organisational restructures (including M&A) supported by extensive positive achievement in strategic human resources, executive leadership coaching, organisational development and operational excellence delivery. He has a global presence, working with businesses across Europe, Asia, Australia and the Americas to develop, plan, implement and sustain the changes needed to grow and prosper.

Rich is a founding member of the Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP) and after leading the team taking forward chapter development built the Toronto Chapter where he is the currently elected president. 

Rich has worked in public sector change for many years and built up extensive experience here on large scale transformational and multi-locational projects.
