Ladakh Motorcycle Expedition 2018

Leh is called as the Mecca of riders. The ride on one of the toughest and highest motorable roads on the earth is an unforgettable one for any rider. As the height goes up, adrenaline rushes through your system.

Leh - Ladakh motorcycle expedition 2018 shall be wholly organized and managed by RenTrip. Our experienced road captains and trip coordinators shall let you experience the adventure to the fullest. Enjoy green lush land disappearing while you pass Rohtang La. The picturesque valley has a lot to offer a rider. The sunrise in the Pir Panjal and other Himalayan ranges, the bluish Tso Moriri and Pangong Lakes and tough terrains are all set to explore you from within. Someone has rightly said, “You know yourself when you know the Nature”.

Ladakh is considered as the full expression of what Nature is. Enjoy campfires and stay in tents while our ride captain cares for the rest. Passing through the breathtaking views of Solong Valley, Khardungla pass, Tso - Moriri Lake and Pangong Lake is an experience a rider generally dreams for.

We shall conquer Leh @ the height of 3524 meters, Rohtang Pass @ the height of 3978 meters and Khardung - La pass @ the height of 5359 meters.

Last date of Registration

The last date of Registration is prior 20 days of the trip date. RenTrip reserves the right to close the registration early or extend the date of registration. RenTrip reserves the right to change, alter or cancel a trip due to any reason which might not be in the best interest of your safety, like dangerous water levels, landslides, extreme weather conditions etc. 

Note: There may be changes in the route and final programme due to any unforeseen circumstances.

• From 60 to 45 days before commencement of the tour 25 %.
• From 45 to 30 days before commencement of the tour 50 %.
• Below 30 days or not traveling 100 %

The participant can, at any moment before the commencement day of the tour, cancel your registration for that particular tour, it
is, however, important that we receive the information about your travel cancellation in writing. The tour could be canceled
or delay before the commencement, in the case minimum participation is not attained. In such a case we shall inform you immediately and also return the total amount collected from you.

ITINERARY

Day1: ARRIVAL AT DELHI

After finishing up your work, land at Delhi with the mood for an adrenaline rush. You shall be received by our ride coordinator at Delhi. Get acquainted with fellow riders who shall be sharing all the thrilling moments with you.  We shall complete the way to Manali by airconditioned bus. 

Day2: MANALI 

Today morning, you shall be received by our team in Manali. You shall be taken to the hotel in Manali. Take your breakfast and rest for the first half of the day. The second half of the day shall be reserved to meet your ride captain, check your bikes and get them tuned up for upcoming days. The evening is at your discretion. Roam in the local market of Manali and experience the culture and cuisine of Himachal Pradesh.

Day3: Manali - Keylong - Jispa (138 KM)

Today morning after breakfast we’ll proceed to Jispa. After a drive of 51 km, pass through Rohtang, which is an acronym for 'Corpse Field' in the local tongue. As we move ahead, greenery shall start going behind and we shall be entering the barren, but a beautiful valley of Pir Panjal.  passing through Keylong Valley, we shall be reaching our destination of the day. Stay in tents at Jispa and enjoy luscious dinner and bonfire for the night.

Day4: JISPA - BARALACHA LA PASS - SARCHU (117 KM)

Today, open up your eyes to enjoy the charming view of the sunrise over the valley. Get ready for the ride to Sarchu via Baralacha Pass at the height of 4890 meters, which is one of the highest motorable roads in the world. The road to Sarchu is rough, so you shall need to call upon your driving skills. Stay in tents at Sarchu. (Breakfast & Dinner included)

Day5: SARCHU - LEH (250 KM)

Today get ready for a longer ride to reach Leh. We shall pass through the mesmerizing Tanglang La pass at the height of 5328 meters.  Ride along the Indus river and visiting the nearby villages and monasteries, reach Leh by the evening. Stay in Hotel at Leh. (Breakfast & Dinner included)

Day6: LEH – KHARDUNG LA - NUBRA VALLEY (160KM)

Today morning we will start our ride towards Khardung La of Karakoram range of the Himalayas which is the highest motorable road on the planet (5359 meters). We shall also explore popular destinations along our way. We shall rive towards Nubra Valley on the banks of Nubra river. Overnight stay at Nubra Valley. (Breakfast & Dinner included)

Day7: NUBRA VALLEY - PANGONG TSO (140 KM)

Today morning we shall ride towards famous Pangong Lake (You might remember the Lake in the movie 3 Idiots) on Agham - Shyok road. We shall be passing by Agham and Shyok villages. The road is full of scenic views by even treacherous to drive. The route shall take between 5 to 6 hours to reach Pangong Lake. Overnight stay at Pangong.   (Breakfast included)

Day8: PANGONG LAKE - LEH EXCURSION

Today we shall drive back towards Leh. On the way, we shall be enjoying scenic view along the road. Also, take a view of famous school shooting site of the movie 3 idiots.  Overnight stay in a resort. (Breakfast & Dinner included)

Day9: LEH EXCURSION - TSOMORIRI LAKE

Today we shall drive to see famous Tso Moriri lake. The scenic views along roadside shall enamor your brain.  We shall be passing by desolated land. Enjoy the view of Tso Moriri Lake in the second half of the day.(Breakfast & Dinner included)

Day10: TSO MORIRI - SARCHU

We shall drive today to reach Sarchu. Our trip is reaching towards completion and by this time we have lots of memories to take home. We will ride total 220 km today.  Overnight stay in tents. (Breakfast & Dinner included)

Day11: SARCHU - MANALI

Today we shall ride to reach Manali. We have already taken a ride on this road, so much familiar than before. Again, enjoy the scenic beauty of landscapes, valleys, and mountains. We shall pass Rohtang La once again. Overnight stay in the hotel in Manali.

Day12: MANALI - DELHI

It is the last day of our trip. We shall reserve this day for local sightseeing and shopping. Enjoy the city on your own. Catch the air-conditioned bus for Manali in the evening. 

Day13: DELHI

We have reached from where we started. Have paperwork done and say bye to your fellow riders. This is not the end of our ride. It is the promise that we shall join another ride soon!!
