Kumara Parvatha Trek- Wanderophile

Overview-

​​The mighty Kumara Parvatha is a well-known trekking destination & is one of the most challenging & rewarding treks in Karnataka. The trek trail starting from Kukke Subramanya  takes you through thick deciduous forests, beautiful meadows & scenic landscapes before you reach the peak. Sleep under the stars, behold a beautiful sunset & breathe in pure mountain air by the lungful. Add to this a couple of other beautiful places to explore and the company of like-minded travelers, you're sure to come back with lots of wonderful memories and an invigorated 'you'.

​​​Short itinerary-

​​Board the bus, get to know fellow travelers and leave Bengaluru by around 9.30 PM, Friday.

​​​Day 1​

Reach home stay

​​Fresh up and load some breakfast

​​​Start trek 

​First pit-stop at Bhattaramane

​Rest & Lunch

​​Start the ascend to peak

​​Return back to Bhattaramane

​​​Campfire and Dinner, Sweet dreams :)

Day 2​​

Wake up to the chirping of birds

​​Have breakfast and start descending

​Arrive at the base

​​​Start return journey

​​​Reach Bengaluru by around 10.00 PM, Sunday (Approx)

​​​​Trek Difficulty- Moderate to Difficult

​​​​

Cost- Rs.3400/- per person (includes travel to and fro Bengaluru, trekking permission, access to first aid kit, multi-sharing accommodation in tents, 1 breakfast, 1 lunch, & 1 dinner)

​​​Register now by paying an advance of Rs.1700. Remaining amount of Rs.1700 will be collected in cash when you board the bus.

​​​​Note: This is a no-frills trip to a relatively remote place, therefore, food will be basic. 

​​​Alcohol, smoking, or drugs are not permitted on any of our trips.

​Things to carry-

​Don't worry about packing too much or too little. Here's just everything that you need to carry- a rucksack, a water bottle, torch, sunglasses, sunscreen, personal medicine, a pair of clothes, undergarments, socks, a towel, toilet kit, portable charger, flip-flops, hiking shoes. And, a camera to capture the memories(optional).Don't forget to bring loads of enthusiasm :)

Cancellation Policy:

• In case you are not able to join the trip you have booked, you can always choose to join any of our future trips within 1 year of the trip date without taking a refund. No cancellations charges will charged in this case.

• If cancellations are made within 7-15 days before the start date of the trip, 10% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

• If cancellations are made within 3-6 days before the start date of the trip, 25% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

• If cancellations are made within 0-2 days before the start date of the trip, 45% of total trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

• In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and in such case we will try our best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However no refund will be provided for the same.
