Program Overview:

Kaizen and 5 ‘S’ started from Japan. It has made Industrial revolution for entire Industry of the world.

Today   many   Industries are facing   worldwide competition. Also customer expectations are changing every day.  Customer has many options to choose & the situation is getting more and more competitive every day. Customer needs Quality product at Minimum OR right cost. This has led to change in outlook towards Customer that focuses on - How to reduce the Cost of Product. This is possible with learning Kaizen and 5 ‘S’ Concepts.

Kaizen and 5 ‘S’ is the key factor which calls for Total Employee Involvement. This Improves Teamwork and develops Supervisory skills.  Basically 5 ‘S’ and Kaizen gives you opportunities to either minimize or eliminate - Non Value Adding - activities.

Kaizen Programme Objectives:

·         To create awareness on kaizen concept

·         To understand the need of Kaizen from employees & organisations point of view

·         To identify potential areas for kaizen

·         To understand Systematic steps to do Kaizen & 5 ‘S’

·         To know some clues for idea generation

Both the trainings will be conducted in Marathi & will be of half a day’s duration each. The course material as well as most of the slides will be in Marathi language. The presentation will contain Video clips as well as case studies.

5 ‘S’ the base of all Lean programs (Marathi).

·         History and principles of 5 ‘S’

·         Seiri (1S) step by step

·         Seiton (2S) step by step

·         Red tagging - How to do it

·         Visual Management, Communication board

·         Seiso (3S) step by step

·         Seiketsu (4S) step by step

·         Shitsuke (5S) step by step

·         Formation of 5 S council, roles & responsibilities

·         Developing Pilot area, Worst Point / Fixed Point photographs

·         5 ‘S’ Audits

Course Information:

Investment (Donation): Rs. 1,900/- + Service Tax 14% per person.
