Hike to Hutridurga- Wanderophile

Hutridurga is one of the 'Navadurgas', the nine hill forts around Bengaluru. Now, a popular hiking destination it is located about 65 Km west of Bengaluru. With the ruins of a fort which dates back to the 16th century and the lush green vegetation in and around the hills, Hutridurga makes a perfect weekend getaway from Bengaluru. Add to this the company of like-minded & fun-to-hangout-with travelers, you're sure to come back with lots of wonderful memories and an invigorated 'you'.

​​Board the bus, get to know fellow travelers and leave Bengaluru by around  6.30 AM.

​-Breakfast en route

​-Reach the base of the hill

​-Start the trek

​-Reach the peak where you'll find a temple 

​-Explore the surroundings

​-Have lunch and take a short nap

​-Descend to the base

​-Start back to Bengaluru

​-Stop to sip some chai

-Reach Bengaluru by evening.

Cost- Rs.999/- per person (includes travel to & fro Bangalore, 1 breakfast, 1 lunch, trek guide, access to first aid kit)

​​​Note: This is a no-frills trip to a relatively remote place, therefore, food will be basic.

​Things to carry

​Don't worry about packing too much or too little. Here's just everything that you need to carry-  a water bottle, sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat, personal medicine, rainwear, socks, portable charger. And, a camera to capture the memories (optional)

​​Don't forget to bring loads of enthusiasm :)

Cancellation Policy:

• In case you are not able to join the trip you have booked, you can always choose to join any of our future trips within 1 year of the date of the trip without taking a refund. No cancellations charges will charged in this case.

• If cancellations are made within 7-15 days before the start date of the trip, 10% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

• If cancellations are made within 3-6 days before the start date of the trip, 25% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

• If cancellations are made within 0-2 days before the start date of the trip, 45% of total trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

• A minimum of 7 members required to confirm the event. In case of lesser than 7 members, full refund will be done or you can choose to join any of our future treks.

• In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and in such case we will try our best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However no refund will be provided for the same.
