Location Address: Harishchandragad Fort, Pachnai, Maharashtra.
Trek Length: About 4 km from the base village.
Difficulty: Easy to Medium grade.
Suitability: Beginners to Professionals!
Pune - Detailed Itinerary (Tentative Timings):
DAY 1
09:30 PM: Reporting At FC College Main Gate.
11:00 PM Start journey by private NON-AC bus/ Jeep(Kasara)
03:00 AM: Reach Pachnai village, get a refresh, and make yourself comfortable.
DAY:2
04:00 AM: Waking Up, get refreshed, and have breakfast!
07:00 AM: Round of important instructions, brief intro session & commencement of the trek.
09:00 AM Reach at the top, explore fort, enjoy beautiful views, Enjoy surroundings, Photo click sessions, and explore the nearby region.
02:00 PM: Start descending from the top.
04:00 PM: After having lunch, we'll start our journey back to Pune!
11:30 PM: Reach Back FC Collage Main Gate

11:30 PM: Start journey towards base village (Paachnai) post briefing by Trek Leaders
12:10 AM: Report at Kasara Ghat

12:30 AM: Igatpuri Google Map
02:30 AM: Reach base village,Get freshen up
03:00 AM: Start Trek to Harishchandragad ,Instructions, and Briefing session by Trek Leaders
06:30 AM: Reach To the Taramati Shikhar Enjoy the Sunrise View, do photography, and Relax
07:00 AM: Have Breakfast and Explore Harishchandrgad
07:30 AM: Start trek towards Konkankada.
08:15 AM: Reach konkankada, get relaxed and Have Breakfast. Explore konkankada and do photography.
09:30 AM: Start trek to Harishchandreshwar Temple.
10:00 AM: 11:00 AM: Explore the Harishchandreshwar Temple, Shiv Linga, Pushkarni
11:30 AM: Start descending towards base village
01:30 PM: Reach Base village
02:00 PM: Have lunch (Veg thali)
03:00 PM: Start Return journey to Kasara.
05:30 PM: Reach Kasara Station. (Arrival Time Depends on the Pace of the Group and Road Traffic conditions)
(Take the next available train to Mumbai)
THINGS TO BE CARRIED
- Water bottle 2-3 Lt.
- Carry Umbrella, caps, and glares as the climate is very sunny out there.
- Dry snacks you can carry if u feel hungry during travel. (almonds,dates,plum cakes,biscuits,etc.)
- Cameras, DSLR, etc. can be carried at your own risk.
- Extra footwear (optional) if u need to change.
- Personal Medication if necessary.
- Sweater / Rain Coat
- Extra Pair of clothes
Note: If any cancellation after registration minor amount will be deducted and the remaining amount will be refunded.
Instructions:
1) While walking from base village to valley we will make 3-4 small groups so that our volunteers can handle, count and track them easily.
2) No participant should leave his/her group.
3) If anyone leaves their group and faces any kind of problems then only himself/herself will be responsible.
4) Route can be muddy due to the rain and terrain can be rough so it is advised to follow instructions and to be in their groups.
5) We will have 3-4 checkpoints. We will take rest only on those points. It is an important part of the trek to complete our journey in time.
6) Please report on time at mentioned pick up point. In the case of any late reporting, we may have a delay to start the journey.
7) Consumption of Alcohol and Smoking is strictly prohibited. If anyone is caught by villagers or by our volunteers then we will take serious action on them.
8) It is a simple village. There are no close toilet facilities.
9) There will be a long gap between breakfast and lunch so you can carry dry snacks like plum cake, wafers, almonds etc. with you.
10) Carry sufficient amounts of water with you as per daily need.
