GREEN PUNE MONSOON HILL MARATHON 3

The Green Pune Monsoon Hill Marathon is an annual event dedicated to promoting environmental awareness and encouraging tree plantation. The inaugural marathon was held on July 14, 2024, organized by Gold Leaf Entertainment in collaboration with various governmental and environmental organizations.

Participants have the option to choose from several race categories, including:

21 KM Half Marathon

10 KM Run

5 KM Run

3 KM Pawathon

2 KM Fun Run

The marathon route offers a scenic experience through Pune's lush green hills, starting and finishing at the Sadu Shinde Cricket Ground. The course passes through notable landmarks such as Taljai Hills, Padmavati Parking, Treasure Park, Aranyeshwar Temple and Gajanan Maharaj Chowk.

In line with its environmental focus, the event emphasizes sustainability by minimizing plastic use and achieving a net-zero carbon footprint. Participants receive saplings, seed balls and recycled water cups at water stations. Race T-shirts are made from recycled PET bottles and electric vehicles are used for event logistics.

1. Age Requirement: Participants must be at least 16 years of age for the 10km run and 21km (Half Marathon) to ensure the safety and appropriate challenge level for all runners.

2. Registration Policy: Once confirmed, registrations are final; they are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be modified under any circumstances.

3. Event Updates: Participants are encouraged to regularly check the gold.leaf.entertainment or pune.green.marathon instagram page for the latest updates and information.

4. Health and Safety: Participation in the Green Pune Monsoon Hill Marathon is at your own risk. Participants should assess their own fitness and health conditions and consult with a healthcare provider prior to the event. 

5. Compliance with Rules: By entering this event, you agree to comply with all rules and follow instructions issued by the organisers for the safety and integrity of the event.

6. Media Consent: Participants grant Gold Leaf Entertainment the right to use their name, photographs, and media recordings for promotional and advertising purposes without compensation.

7. Event Changes: The organisers retain the right to cancel, postpone, or modify the event at any time due to unforeseen or unavoidable circumstances.

8. Arrival Time: Participants are recommended to arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the scheduled start of their race to facilitate a smooth running of the event.

9. T-Shirt Policy: T-shirt sizes are final once registered and cannot be exchanged. Participants are advised to choose their sizes carefully during registration.
